The new version has minerals literally sprinkled around. It's almost impossible to run out of metal now.

I'm saying that if you prefer it for that then that's not such a great reason, seeing as 90% of sites in .31 have pretty much every feature. Also importable sand.

I literally cannot play 31_01 until Therapist is updated to support it, I just can't handle the pressure D:

No, you misunderstood, I like 40d more because Therapist doesn't work for .31 and I'm already used to the controls of the Mayday version of 40d.

MASSIVE SPOILERS The sea probably has a good deal of those pillars. Digging through those pillars you will find this versions equivalent of HFS, and oh is it Fun. Note: The Clowns of the Clown Car are now procedurally generated.

Re: Dwarf Fortress - It's about time there's a thread
Well I'm disappointed. I have like 80 dorfs and no goblin sieges. I've also failed at coercing my military into attacking the neutral humans that inhabit the caverns next door. They still refuse to equip themselves, even with an armory guy.
On the bright side I have a larch crown adorned with a picture of itself.

Re: Dwarf Fortress - It's about time there's a thread
Just had a bunch of FUN in real life.
I work a Mcd's, and the morning is going on normally, then the fry vat starts smoking. a lot. then we start smelling chemical fire. somebody opens the door on the bottom, and some flames start billowing out. everybody's freaking out, and the only manager on shift still sane enough to talk doesnt know how to use a fire extinguisher. We ended up hitting the kill switch for all of the kitchen, so no more mcdonalds for the next few hours.
