Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Not really, if you played Shivering isles you see sherogorath realm is quite full of life and such, The oblivion gates i would say in oblivion was just Generic planes for a "generic" Daedra lord or just parts of Mehrune dagon main realm which also make Sense since 90% of the oblivion related stuff was for mehrunes during that time.
That said it could be interesting as a expansion to be able to take a boat to hammerfell as you said and help the redguards overthrow the Thamlor, or even more so go to Cyrodill and help the imperial push out the thalmor, or if you decide to help the stormcloaks, attempt to take over Cyrodill for the nords.
To be honest i'd rather enjoy the idea of being able to move to each area via Boat / teleport instead of just having a massive walk to one area to the other. would be quiet interesting.
On a side note i believe it be safe to assume the following DLC types may be added, or at least i think should be added.
a home for each class (thief, warrior, ranger assassin mage etc) or just one home (♥♥♥♥ hope they do a mage tower or a necromancer tower for interesting stuff) extra minor questline (similar to unearthing Mehrune's Razor, Maybe Re-forging the Umbra or remaking it, since i ♥♥♥♥ ADORE the umbra and saddly it's broken / destroyed in skyrim age.) and since they took out magic making, it could be re-added as a DLC which would make interesting spells since i really want a flames or Spark spell that isn't totally useless.
That said there is a couple of DLC involding Dragons or Giants they could add in.

I would throw 5.000.000 jars of super-flamable oil in riften's ratway, throw a torch and enjoy listening all those cockroaches crisp and fry... I'm the most who enjoyed Blackreach, but I never liked to be forced to get inside dark, moist and claustrophobic sewers by quests.
To be frank with all of you, I always considered High Elves more likely to become benevolent and intelligently superior like LOTR ones, not like some bunch of stupid thugs which just politically push around others.

LordVonKain, you can fast travel and there are carts between all the major cities that will drive you to any other major city for a really tiny fee

You didn't understand what I said. Yes, I played that expansion and it's obvious why Sheo's realm is as colourful/depressing as it is. He is the exception. Most of the other daedra that come to mind all live in horrible/hellish and/or dark/colourless places (as far as I know). Not really suitable for a long addon. I'd imagine Hircine's plane would look very nice, but he's all about hunting. Not much to create a story out of.
Don't expect a return to Cyrodiil. I really doubt a return to anywhere in that place, or Morrowind for that matter. It has been done before, and recently as well. People would want to see other places. Hammerfell, Elsweyr and Valenwood etc.

Yeah, it seems they usually are. Thankfully Bethesda's high elves are not so we can kick some arrogant elven arse soon.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
@chao, i was meaning how in oblivion there some mods that remake Morrowind and you have to WALK to it to visit the places there, all i'm wanting is say a boat in riftin that can take you to a new area (load a new area up) which act as morrowind or Cyrodill or hammerfell etc.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
So, did everyone grow tired of Skyrim yet? Finished the game perhaps?
I have to ask, can't find a precise number on the internet; how many locations have you found? Journal -> General Stats -> Locations discovered My counter is stuck on 345.

Gotcha! wrote: So, did everyone grow tired of Skyrim yet? Finished the game perhaps? Nah, I'm just on vacation and I only have my laptop with me. Although I have finished the game. I started a new character that was more interesting than "big guy with big weapons". I sort of breezed through the game because I could take and dish out so much damage. So I made a new stealth one. Much more fun.
