actually swampert is a very good pokemon, you just need to remember its weaknesses. personally the best starters from the respective generations are charizard, feraligater, blaziken, and the penguin dude from gen 4

Don't battle Red until you have at least like 90 guys over lever 200. Just sayin.

...I went to battle him with my highest being Flareon @ lv 56. Short battle.

Guillotine and Fissure can ♥♥♥♥ off.

Fine then. Sunny Day ability + Solarbeam + sp.attack over 450 = you dead.

I almost beat red with a bunch of level 50's. Then to ♥♥♥♥ with me he throws out a lapras. I had pokemon that were super effective against almost everything else he had except the Lapras. Needless to say I lost.

I beat Red with a lv 59 feraligator, lv 95 dragonite that didnt actually do anything, stupid blizzard >.< lv 57 nidoqueen, lv 48 metagross, lv 70 ho-oh that didnt do anything either, and my lugia lv 54 who did most of the work, you just got to work your types and have a hefty scooping of luck
