Re: D&D and such
Don't clerics have to ask their god to do ♥♥♥♥?
Also your entire post makes no sense : wizards have to prepare each spell in the quantity they want. Sorcerers just get x number of spells for each spell level.
EDIT : Yeah they are basically Divine (or Evil) wizards, you have to chose how many of each spell. There are rules about the preparation in the PHB on page 32.
EDIT again : "Spontaneous Casting: A good cleric (or a neutral cleric of a good deity) can channel stored spell energy into healing spells that the cleric did not prepare ahead of time. The cleric can “lose” any prepared spell that is not a domain spell in order to cast any cure spell of the same spell level or lower (a cure spell is any spell with “cure” in its name). For example, a good cleric who has prepared command (a 1st-level spell) may lose command in order to cast cure light wounds (also a 1st-level spell)." PHB 3.5 page 32
So don't even bother preparing Cure spells.

Re: D&D and such
Thanks for clarifying. Never had to deal with clerics before. Guy in my group died, and is now a Dwa/Clr
EDIT: Hey if you are a sorcerer or a wizard and you multiclass into a wizard or sorcerer, what happens to your spells per day? Also for people with rudimentary knowledge of D&D, I need more odd, crazy, and/or horrifying traps. As an example for the odd genre, a bear trap. It works in a 5-foot wide hall. the panel 5 feet in front of said bear trap is a pressure pad which, when activated, opens a small side passage or hole in the ceiling that contains a live bear, ready to maul the shocked PCs

Re: D&D and such
The two classes maintain separate SPD listings and everything, I think you also have to learn the spells for each class separately.
This is because the levels of the two classes are independent.

Re: D&D and such
Alright I think that I get it. I was confused because they share the same spells and I suppose you could technically exploit this.

Re: D&D and such
I was going to actually read everything before posting but couldn't finish the first page because of all the 3 page posts.
I play D&D. I am a DM. If asked I will take a picture of my collection of books
I have been running my personal D20 setting in my appartment for the last 3-5 months, started the players at lv 4, they are now lv 9, i plan on running it untill lv 40 (horay classless epic levels) I have completely torn apart all the classes and created a classless gaming, in D20, just by defining how to pick your class features. (its not truely classless, but your not multiclass either, its a long story)
I am well aware that 3.5 has some really REALLY bad loopholes, like AoO with reach weapons, or leap attack/feints with spiked chains. not to mention lv 21+ being damn near deific, but it beats the hell out of barbarians being just as addept at spellcasting as a sorcerer when it comes to rituals, right off the bat. or things like teiflings being in the PHB.
Here is a list of the different stuffs I use.
D&D 3.5 (I will NOT do 4th ed, its ass) D20 Modern (under-rated, its actually nice if you ignore the suggested settings. invasions of greys suck) D20 Future/Apocalypse (same as above) The End of the world (Very VERY well written, out of print, and it looks like a bible, leather binding, gold embosed text and all.) various Sword and Sorcery books Planescape (out-dated, AD&D rules, but i'm half-assed converting the setting) Call of Cthulu (D20) All Flesh Must Be Eaten (Zombie survival Horror) Iron Kingdoms (I only have 1 book, I like the way it plays but I dont know enough of the setting)
I'm not sure where to go in this topic now that I've said all this, I just felt the need to post.

Re: D&D and such
Who is even going to DM this ♥♥♥♥?
I was thinking of designing a DF(boatmurdered)-inspired campaign for use at the Uni, but maybe I can use it here?

Re: D&D and such
I will DM and try to give some warning but I usually decide to do it randomly ~6-8 pm PST and then it takes awhile for us to get everyone(ME-ME THIS MEANS YOU) together. Today is a maybe. Probably not, but there is a chance. Ask Me-me for info on character creation in the IRC if you need help with it.
EDIT: Doing it today in two hours. Be there ♥♥♥s. Feel free to drop by if you just want to watch or w/e
