I had 10+ diamonds.

I still have yet to play, but I'll get cracking today and see what comes up. I might just farm tons of wood and metal for the next person who rolls along.

I'm having some stuttering, but I only tried it with fancy graphics on, maybe fast graphics will work better.

New update apparently can delete ♥♥♥♥ on the map randomly because of the converter. Keep the archive handy in case we lose something major.

The lag/stuttering goes away after it loads the chunks near you.

I explored that 'empty' mine.

I explored it, and I tried to mine anything and everything in sight. When I finished digging out a vein of something, it just connected to a whole new cavern.
I still haven't explored it all yet, but I got around 40 iron and at least 150 coal. I managed to escape the endless caverns, though I'm not sure how.

I'll do some more stuff, then I'll post the log.

I even found some gold, but I had only brought stone picks with me.

I had an iron pick on me specifically for gold and diamonds....


The empty mine, as far as I know, only had one coal vein left that I hadn't had time to clear. Is that what led onward? Or did you do something I don't know about?

Well, I found a hole int he ground and used some falling gravel to make a little stair case. That's where I started finding stuff.

Why is that occasional hurt/grunt sound that happens randomly so paranoia inducing? Kinda hate it when I'm in a dark mineshaft.

I hear it as well. No idea, it must be a bug.


I ended up not having much time to do stuff what with playing Generals with dragonxp and playing Paranoia. I'll have to take another turn later. Most of what I did was mining.
There should be some iron in the furnaces.
