Re: World of TANKS
I don't think they ever had a straight up gold sale.

Just took a look in the tank viewer, it's interesting looking, shame I didn't notice it before, just another premium American tank for me It's gun is a 37mm semi-automatic if you were wondering Also the gold sale, that makes me excited, although I had been hoping to get some gold from adding my phone number to my account, but it keeps telling me that it's not in the correct format

Re: World of TANKS
I just had my best ♥♥♥♥ game in my AMX 40. Was around mid tier, so I stayed back at the cap along w/ a Grille. Killed a t40 and a bt-7 when they tried to flank. Eventually it went down to me, the Grille, a t-25, and a tier 3 light. At this point the enemy team consisted of a t1 heavy, a Valentine, and an m2. The t-25 and the light were killed trying to cap, and at that point I didn't have high hopes for the match. The Grille and I decided to head toward the enemy base, even though there was no chance we could outcap them. Along the way I spotted the t1, and hid behind a building. It became a short game of cat and mouse as the t1 attempted to get to me, and I was able to get a few potshots in the side of the tank. The Valentine then showed up, and tried to penetrate me, but luckily I had protection. The Grille then decided to show up and shot at the t1 in the rear, bringing it down to 14 hp. After this I was able to finish off the t1 and the rest of the enemy team. I'm starting to have a bit more respect for the AMX 40.

Re: World of TANKS
Haha what a match, wonderful job The AMX 40 can certainly be tough son of a ♥♥♥♥♥ for low pen guns I have a lot of trouble with them with my Pz B2 (no surprise there)
In modding news I have started working on my own ingame voices using the British voices from Blitzkrieg, I really hope it works because they're quite good, although the tutorial is rather long

Re: World of TANKS
So. I got a survey from WoT asking why I ain't played in a long time.
And it asked one feature I'd add to the game.
It was simple.
Command tanks.
I don't even know why I suggested that, though. I was thinking that it would be a weaker tank, but provide a buff to nearby tanks.
Or something.

Re: World of TANKS
They've already discussed command tanks for (and only for) clan wars. I don't have the relevant forum links on hand, but essentially they are still in the conceptual phase, but would likely be the only players on the team capable of directing outside support such as air strikes or naval bombardment (a planned feature to link up World of Warplanes and World of Warships with World of Tanks). I believe they mentioned a few other possible ideas, but that was the central one.
Rest assured, they're thinking about it, but if they come it wouldn't be for a long ♥♥♥♥ time yet.

Re: World of TANKS
A couple days ago I got the PIII/IV. Right now I have the second gun, the third engine, and I'm working toward the second set of tracks. Any tips on using it and what tank should I go for next?

Re: World of TANKS
1) Make sure the enemies only see your frontal slopes. 2) Proceed to fire at them as their shots just ricochet off your armour.
That's how I do it, anyways. And it seems to be working just fine. The Panzer III/IV is a beast in its own tier.

Re: World of TANKS
It's a great flanker, and can hold it's own if needed, but never try and attack on your own Works good in a wolfpack, and it always seems to be able to destroy the Pz IV in one on ones, just follow the good ole rules and you should be fine I just got off it myself and unlocked the VK 3601 (H), it's allegedly the best tier 6 medium, but it's fairly ♥♥♥♥ stock, either choice is good because you can get the VK 3002 (DB) which can be used to get the Panther or Tiger line
Also making new ingame sound files is hard, my first attempt didn't work, though hopefully after running through it once I can get it right next time

Re: World of TANKS
Tier IV engine on a Tier II tank? That T1E6 is fast. Also autocannons.

Killed three T1E6's in my tetarch today. Not that there were any other targets in that game.
