Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
That's happened to me in some places, for instance, in Markarth. Fiddle around with it for a while. Try using console commands to fast travel to a different town, for instance.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Thanks, that got me out of Jorrvaskr. Reentering and exiting again crashes the game again though. Thankfully I am done with the Companion-quest line. (Needed to enter there to pick someone's pockets.) Hopefully the problem won't get worse/spread to other locations.

That awkward moment when you remember there's a HUGE bounty on your head coinciding in city with unfinished quests or precious objects left behind

Drop off your stuff (or just your stolen stuff) at your house, then go serve your jail time? The exp between levels isn't really that much of a price to pay, is it? This reminds me of the crime system in Shivering Isles.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Why would you ever get that rich? At some point before that I would think it would become more trouble than it's worth to do anything for the sake of money.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Yeah. I have over 250.000 gold now and stopped taking loot with me around 150.000, except stuff that I actually want to use, and, ofcourse, gold. Plenty of money will come in anyway.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
For the sake of ceiling cat, I am the only player who doesn't need 9.999.999.999 golds for being happy? I'm agreed with azukki, those 900K would be a better use for you if spent instead saved. LordVonKain@: I experienced too with animals witnessing stuff they shouldn't be able to witness; rabbits, foxes, goats, cows, chickens... they watch you and knew your modus operandi. I think everything should be negotiable, if you kill a whole town, just have to do like politics these days, pay lousy amount of money and enjoy the liberty you don't deserve, it might be a hidden message... Azukki@: I remember the old Sheogorath times that was the only character which made me sincerely laugh in videogames, THE ONLY ONE... jail? are you suggesting me to go to JAIL?!

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Yeah, even without regularly selling spare dragon bones/scales and other miscellaneous loot it's easy to make money. Between little bits looted from urns and draugr to bigger bits from chests to quest rewards... money just keeps on rolling in. I've fully outfitted the Whiterun and Solitude houses and am hovering around 8,000 right now.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I have all of my stuff in my second house in Windhelm, because I got tired of the one in Whiterun. I ha e a chest full of valuables, and basically everything I own. I keep it just in case I want to buy something and I don't have enough money. I can just wear my set of money clothes. I have hat, an amulet, and I think some other clothes that give me at least 50% better prices. Plus my speech is high. I can clear out the coffers of all the merchants in a city or two if I feel like it. I never have to though, since I always end up getting a ton of gold just from tombs and bandits and chests.
I am the 1%. #occupy Skyrim

338 places explored. Can anyone top that? Because I can't find any new places anymore.
Edit: 339.
