Get the orks from assault on black reach. They're usually good, cheap and they pump your horde with minions, nobs and a warboss.

Looks fine, though two things irk me a wee bit. First, your chaptain has no ranged weaponry, making him stand out a bit in a shoot/punch/shoot squad. If you want to keep the LCx2, why not give him an auxiliary grenade launcher as well? After all, you'll be well within 12' if you want to assault.

The second thing is the thunder hammer on the assault squad. Spess elves don't have all that many multi-wound models, so the initiative reducing effect is mostly wasted on them. +1 pen isn't that big of a deal either. For the same price, you could get a PFx2, potentially doubling your damage potential. Except of course, if you know the other guy is gonna go crazy on the tuff elites, or bring the Avatar. Then, by all means, do keep your hammer.

...on slightly unrelated news, I've kind of fallen in love with the assault marine models. Man, those jump packs are a blast to paint.

The TH on the assault squad is pretty useful if I happen to pop a tank and them elves happen to pour out. Last time I completely wiped out a squad in a single turn. Expensive as hell, but usually worth the points. The captain, well, I've got nothing better, I could use my standard captain, but he rarely does anything useful.

On an unrelated note, anyone know where I can get some 1/35 models on the cheap? I'm currently looking at m113 bradleys to use as rhinos, but the things usually cost about 30£. And that's even more expensive than GW prices.

The only reason I ever look at this thread, and I look at this thread a lot, is to see the cool pictures of the figurines. They're pretty dope even if they're badly painted.

Pictures it is then. I just need to get me camera PHONE PICTURES

Spoiler'd because lots.

Looking nice, I say. Your sentinel could use a bit of love, though, there's plenty of mold lines showing in the legs and exhausts. A wash or two wouldn't hurt, either.

Yeah, the sentinel is not my best. After assembling and painting 25 Guardsmen, suddenly I had a whole lot of space. I screwed up more than I care to admit.

And I tried washes.
That ♥♥♥♥ is hard.
My brother can do it much better than I can.

Washes are pretty easy to apply, Just don't let them sit on the model too long or they'll dry where you don't want them to.

Those are actually pretty great. I especially like the marine, those damn color transitions can be quite a ♥♥♥♥♥ to make.

On an unrelated note, have a 700 point list I'm considering.

The devastators are a bit of a gamble, but given the fact that they spit out 8 god damned rockets per turn, and two of them on hitting on a 2+ mind you, kind of make me want to go all out.

I've mostly been playing against orks these days and on sucj a small amount of points it can get pretty ridiculous on how easily they overwhelm pretty much anything that can't shoot fast enough.

Why, thank you. I am rather proud of these models meself. As to the missile launcher, I'd say go for it. Two frag hits can break a medium unit of boys with ease, even if they're 'ard boyz, and kraks will instawreck any trukks you come by.

White, with green, preferably heresy time.
Those are the best armies.
