Essentially, it's a downgrade, but you have to fight in higher tiers. I intend to not upgrade the T82 at all, and instead go straight for the M8. Stock tanks are kinda always a downgrade from an elited tank, just fyi.

Generally how it goes, you elite a tank you've spent so long learning how best to play and really enjoying it, then you 'upgrade' to the next vehicle and just absolutely loathe it.
Then of course you get used to that one, and the cycle repeats indefinitely.

Re: World of TANKS
I've literally had 2 horrible ♥♥♥♥ occasions with my S-35 CA now (Just went back to it to get the 90mm) Where I've been one shotted, by people using gold ammo, once in the first 30 seconds of match I officially hate gold ammo I have also finally been called an ultimate noob and been told to uninstall the game for not backing up a Hetzer in my A13 who went up against a T1 and M8A1 with more heavies coming up behind him, sozzard mate

"My Aporiges Prease" - pretty much the ultimate comeback.
I get players like that all the time, even though I come out on top of the EXP chart at the end. F2P games have the worst communitys.

Re: World of TANKS
Had an awesome match where, in the end, an enemy Churchill was capping our base and our Churchill capping the enemy base. They would've won if I and a Valentine wouldn't have done some teamwork. Valentine made a dash across the base, while I flanked the Churchill and shot it in the rear. I got destroyed along with the Valentine, but atleast we won by capture.

Is the Valentine any good? I'm working toward the Churchill and I'm not sure if I'm taking the path of least resistance.

Re: World of TANKS
I haven't used it because I'm taking the light tank route But based on combat experience the Matilda seems better as I rarely see a Valentine performing well or at least surviving for the match

Re: World of TANKS
My experience in the Valentine thus far has been, if you aren't in a tier 5 or 4 match, you are useless.
But if you're in a tier 4 match, god damn is it near invincible.

Okay, so it's one of those tanks then. Oh well, I'm used to that sort of thing anyway.

Re: World of TANKS
So I just started using the U-11 on the KV-1 after using the 413, in preperation for the KV-2, and it's just really fun. I wasn't sure what I'd think of it, but I've been doing really well with it Just thought I'd mention it... Also Medals for models competition, since I have none of the other tanks I'm going to attempt to enter the contest with my PzKpfw III, one of my favourite tanks in the game. I just seem to love all the tier IV mediums...

The PZ III is arty doom with the 7.5cm HE derp. I think it's my 4th most plaed tank with 250 game or so. <3 Pz III the speedy armoured cockroach.

Re: World of TANKS
I try to fill a sniper role with the Panzer III, but the long 5cm cannon just doesn't penetrate well enough. Maybe I should start hunting arty, too.

Re: World of TANKS
Do any of you guys feel cheated by Wargaming with the new Chinese tanks? While I was looking for photos of the Chinese tree again (which I had found once but now can't find) I learnt that apparently they're holding back on the Chinese update a bit. Possibly because WG realises that the new tree hasn't had enough work, lots of complaints about balancing. A lot of people have also made comments that the tree is only being implemented as a cash grab from the Asian players. But I have found and would myself have recommend different trees that WG could have implemented instead Swedish treeI love this one, Swedish tanks are really interesting, although the Strv 103 should still be in the medium-heavy tanks since it was an MBT. Japanese treeThis is also filled with immensely interesting vehicles instead of just having tanks from other countries. I don't think WG would be able to implement amphibious tanks properly yet but they might be good at bouncing shots. I particularly like the Type 4 Ha-To artillery. Plus we could always use another tree from the axis side. Edit: Also M4 Sherman options; Easy eight or Jumbo? Since I already unlocked the T1 there would be no real reason for me to take the Jumbo to go into the heavy line later.

Re: World of TANKS
Those seem interesting as well, and I'd like to see WG implement those too, especially the Japanese. Probably won't happen though.
