Alrighty, I did a bit of housemaking and some digging, nothing too major. Uh, I guess it's your turn dragon. Get on it and show us what you're made of. Base has two exits and a skylight, and straight ahead of you when you load the save.

I found the most badass waterfalls ever.

This huge waterfall and river flows down into the caves below, which house half a dozen other springs.
Image

The caves below, the narrow central waterfall is falling on a 1-block-wide wall, which splits it into two streams.
The river generated by this huge amount of water flows pretty far down the cave, only stopping because of a wall.

EDIT : in the second picture, the far left waterfall is the one that is connected to the river in the first picture.

Obsidian is pretty, if I just had a way to actually build castles of it now...

Well this is my progress for today. Will do more tomorrow.

Mine:
- There are torches leading to a pit
- The Cavern is called Devil's Hole mine.
- It is not entirely explored
- Easy to get lost so be careful
- Has an abundance of coal and iron

Here is the ore chest:
Image

PS. shortage of coal in chest is due to large amount of torches used to light up the extremely large mine.

The water spring:

- More skinny dipping sheep lolz.
- Planting trees in the area
- Try not to fall in.
Image
- Now connected to a glass enclosed farm
Image

The Base:
- Built a new 2 story house with a nice roof deck.
- Reason behind this was i found Duh's house/base t be slightly gloomy and dungeony.
Image

- Posted signs all over the place as well.
- Duh's a lazy lumberjack, I had to cut wood from the start.
- Duh's also very un-organized
- As a result i organized everything us much as i care to.

Image

- Renamed Duh's house/dwelling/base into Duh's HQ

I think at the moment it just looks nice. I think eventually Notch wants to have it be a prereq for floating structures.

My house is impregnable.

Image

Currently low on iron, as the caves I go into for mining are confusing and I end up going in circles all day, so I can't find ores easily.

There's a massive untapped cave system much farther in the East, which I did a little exploring in and placed a few dozen torches. I also unblocked a surface spring, which is how I found said caves.

EDIT : picture is old, there is now most of a second floor, and the third will be larger, for growing trees, flowers, and placing some springs.

I can't wait for multiplayer to come out. We should totally all sign in and choose teams, then start building towns and waging wars against each other.
