I think there should just be no kids. It's not as realistic, but at least I won't have a bounty.

It was a bit frustrating when Minette Vinius (aka kid in winking skeever) sent thugs after me for stealing a sweet roll

Let me guess, someone took your sweetroll? I used to be an adventurer like you once, but then I took an arrow in the knee. Guard might get nervous, a man approaches with his weapon drawn.
I really want to be able to play this, right now I meet minimum requirements but I know it will be sluggish even on low settings with my PC. I've got a little money, enough to either get a new (mid-price) CPU or a new vid card but I don't know which would affect gameplay more given my current CPU/GPU.
My CPU: AMD Athlon dual core, 2.8GHZ My Vid card: Nvidea Geforce 9400 GT
My friend says the vid card needs to go first, what do you guys think?
"A healing spell? Are you a priest?" For Talos' sake! For the 842th ♥♥♥♥ time, Lydia, I am NOT A PRIEST!

"Some may call this junk. Me? I call them treasures." How original! You're only the 712th shopkeeper saying that line. My sincere congratulations with your originality and witty humour. *puts double axe in shopkeeper's cortex*
Pity how Bethesda always succeeds to break immersion with things that are so easy to fix. >_>
Edit: @madmax: I have an 8800GT and the game runs peachy with it. I take it your 9400GT would be faster, so I wouldn't buy a new one.

I would agree with your friend, madmax. Your processor doesn't seem THAT outdated, though your card is a bit lacking. How much money do exactly have to spend on a graphics card? If it's around 200, I would suggest a Nvidia GTX 560, or the superior 560ti. Around 130-ish would get you a GTX 550ti. I wouldn't recommend spending any less on this piece of hardware, but spend according to your budget, I suppose.

Definitely upgrade. An 8800GT would most certainly be faster than a 9400GT. A bit less than 4 times as fast, give or take. The videocard is DEFINITELY what to upgrade first. Videocard tech advances like goddamn lightning. Hell, I can get by with my old Core 2 Quad for a while more with no problems, but my 8600GTS started to show its age years ago.
Oops, my mistake. Figured the higher the number is the faster the card is. Guess I was wrong. Yeah, definitely upgrade that card and seeing how low mine scores I'll start thinking about a new one too.

I'm seeing some basic polygons on some faces. Is it just me?

I had inside oblivion the nude+jiggling boobies mod, it was the best of the best... now I recall it, oblivion had even a sex mod! but even I consider that sick

I have yet to contract any diseases at all. Only status ailment I really get is the occasional poisoning from spiders.
I guess it probably helps that I have 100 disease resist from Werewolf blood.
