Re: Minecraft Infdev succession
You can "use" flint?
Contrary: they only appear at night or in dark places. And yes, the monsters are super-strong.

Hmm. But is it really a threat? Do you have to be "constantly vigilante"? Can you just build yourself a tower and spam arrows at them?

Re: Minecraft Infdev succession
Yeah, I saw when I looked at the link Duh posted. Basically water will now come in fancy 1/8th blocks. Contrary wrote: Hmm. But is it really a threat? Do you have to be "constantly vigilante"? Can you just build yourself a tower and spam arrows at them? They spawn anywhere dark. So, unless your tower has a sun roof and/or is filled with torches, you're going to get mauled. And yes, they're hell on earth. But yeah, generally towers keep you safe.

Re: Minecraft Infdev succession
I've seen worse.
EDIT
Tomorrow an update that changes water and save formats is apparently going to break all old infdev saves.

Re: Minecraft Infdev succession
Water was fixed. Buckets were added. Graphics options added. (Hooray for low-tech computers!) Leaves now disappear when near a chopped-down tree. (Yay!) He lengthened days and shortened nights. (YAY!)
It seems that He's going to try and improve the graphics of the game next. O_o
EDIT: I found a way to make navigatable mines. When making corners, etc, curve the corner the leads to a dead end/the entrance. This leads to a very easy way to navigate.
When you enter the mine, you can follow the corners to find a dead end to mine out. When you finish, you follow the corners back to the entrance.
It works quite well, though I'm not sure how original of an idea it is.
