Thankfully I don't have to just wipe it. There's a tool that find bad chunks and deletes them.

Bad news kids, have to map-wipe.

Why? Well for some reason the script I found to delete broken chunks can't handle the map data, my guess is it broke in such a way as to make entire swatches of the map file gibberish.
I have a backup of it in case it magically starts working but I have low hopes.

Use the old map and just let us see what all is broken. If it's not too bad and it's fixable, we'll keep it.

That sucks balls... I hope the server will start to work again, right now it's... Well... Laggy, to say the least.

Is there a way to delete the broken portions of the map entirely? I know this essentially amounts to carving out a large chunk of the world, resulting in some very weird looking areas, but we probably wouldn't ever encounter them. Hopefully they're not near our houses. We all worked really hard on making legit shelters, so it'd be shitty if we had to restart.

Load the 'corrupt' world.

You can't, it stops the server from working.
It's literally corrupt, meaning gibberish map data.
Also, loaded a new map with some pregenned chunks for less lag.
