Re: Minecraft Survival Multiplayer Server
I can't do my thing if I can't log in with ssh, which is what I'm looking at. So yeah. Check the screen to see what it's doing?

Re: Minecraft Survival Multiplayer Server
This is a neat little temporary server I came across, and settled on it since it was the first one I found that worked, on the list meeting my criteria.

Re: Minecraft Survival Multiplayer Server
So I think I am going to rent out an 8-slot from Multiplay Game Servers. It's only 10.00 USD for an 8-slot, which I don't mind picking up the burden for.
What I need to know is: Would you all use it? Would you all care if I was the administrator? I know this might bother some people, so I'd be more than willing to pass the baton of administration off to someone else and be completely hands-off--but if I'm going to open it to DRL I need to know you all are going to actually use it.
I'm not going to ask for donations or contributions. $10 is a pittance. If you all want more slots, though, that's another story.
Anyway, thoughts? I can get the ball rolling today if people are genuinely interested.

Re: Minecraft Survival Multiplayer Server
Whitty, Alpha and Duh are actually investing quite a bit of time and effort in keeping this little hobby of ours going and I really enjoy the atmosphere here. So unless Whitty and Duh are down with it I really think we should just stick it out here.

Yeah, we really don't have any need for multiple servers. Whitty's is occaisionally down, but it's also got a great connection and we can manage it completely.

Careful of what you download, kiddies. If you don't want to read through the article, here's the tl;dr version. Some people downloaded a hacked client that grabbed their account details and that list was leaked. You can check if your account is on it with this web page. If your account is on it, change your password immediately.
