Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Whelp, I fixed my problem. And then played it all night. From about an hour after my edit 'till now.
That said, I had to start at level one again, can anyone else test this for me?

Man, there is nothing more satisfying than charging three enemies head-on with akimbo p90s in hand. To me anyway at the moment.

I don't understand akimbo smgs when akimbo glocks are so much better.

Akimbo MP5K is pretty good. It does considerably more damage than the glocks and you have more ammo. Unfortunately it has worse accuracy.

The third person mode is fudged, you cannot kill anything/do damage with the m60/40/something (the last LMG cant remember the name). At least on PS3, not sure about other platforms.

The third person mode is really for when you're drunk and LANning. New word.

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Oh my lord. MW2 Completely under estimates weapons. But of course why would they make it any more fair?? Like we have 'Gang Members' out there that can withstand two 50cal Shots before falling to the ground. They really hit the realistic factor there.. Although I do understand that they tried to balance everything out but could have done a better job towards that, Its all looks and no gameplay now it seems.. I do enjoy Multiplayer but still cant get through the hour without getting frustrated.. Im sure everyone gets their moments when they absolutely Rape and Pillage through everyone and then you get the times when you die and spawn and die again within the second. Sometimes I think of when they were all like "ZOMG we shud poot da chopper gunnerz and EHSEE130 in Multeplayur!! " I can say that they did manage to hit the SpecOps right on though. Besides the Impossible missions like Terminal, Wardriving, Snatch and Grab, and of course Breach and Clear.. It wasnt later untill i realized you can almost run right through some of them. There are some favourites though like Overwatch, Evasion, and most of the hard ones.. Meh, 5/10 overall from me..

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Well, If the weapons were realistic the game would be dumb. Have you ever played UT on Instagib for extended periods of time? It starts out okay, then you just get ♥♥♥♥ annoyed by all those people who shoot you through walls. ESPECIALLY apparent with lag.
EDIT: And although I agree with the rest of your post, I'd still give it a 7 or 8 out of ten. It's not perfect, but games never are. AC130 and Chopper Gunner are way overpowered, and it almost ruins multiplayer, but if you're evenly matched there isn't much of a chance to get that many kill in a row. although the Matchmaking hardly ever makes an even match.

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Realism in video games is stupid, and nothing in MW2 is really OP. Noob Tubes and commando get a boost when it's laggy, but that's about it. Killstreaks do nothing if you have CB, and stuff dies in one or two stingers.
I think that the single player is more a tutorial to multiplayer than a standalone.
Spec Ops is fun with friends but definitely not the major draw for me.

I liked most of the Spec ops, but you gotta think that they ran out of Ideas partway through.

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Whelp, I'm bumping this thread because I inexplicitly feel the need to waggle my E-Peen around. Sorry guys. Full name is 1st Sgt. C. Copperthorne, because I was trolling nubs with a friend. The C. stands for Cecil! :3 Also, you can see me getting the game winning kill just there.
