You can still infinite care pack glitch, and SPAS-12 FMJ has a quite nice range.

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
I use a ninja class (basically never fire a bullet and set up your class for maximum speed and knfe range) and I was playing on Karachi. Recently I've been massively improving my gameplay. During this game I realised I had lots of killstreaks and I ran down a path about 10 metres wide with a dead end to throw my care packages safely. I threw one, got a sentry, threw another, got a sentry, used them to cover myself, called down another, got resupply. Then I realised I still had a predator, used that and got a double kill. This whole time I had 2 harriers going. That was my best game ever, I got 26 kills and 7 deaths only using knives. w00t!!!!!

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Fun and addictive etc but I'm not as obsessed as most people, nor do I see why they're all so obsessed. Don't get me wrong, it's a very fun game to play, I just prefer games with more tactics/teamwork in them, like MGS4 or TF2.
EDIT: I also need to get my hands on a copy of MAG. 256 players goddamn, I don't even care if it ends up being a completely generic/bland/unoriginal FPS at this point.

Sorry to break it to you, MAG sucks. Was in the beta, not worth it at all. I was severely dissapointed

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Uh, MW2 requires a LOT of teamwork to be truly effective, but that aside...
MAG does suck. I was sooo disappointed. At the first announcement I was thinking of foregoing MW2 and just waiting for MAG. Now I'm not even interested in borrowing it.

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
@MAG sucking: Daw. Still probably going to give it a shot, I'll haul it back for a refund if I don't like it. Anything specific that was bad, or was it just poorly done overall?
>MW2 requires a LOT of teamwork to be truly effective,
and nobody who plays it seems to give a ♥♥♥♥. In my experiences, most people in servers completely ignore their teammates, aside from occasionally deciding to not shoot them, and focus on upping their own kill count. Maybe it's just me but in other games people seem more cooperative.
EDIT: On MAG; from the reviews I've read it seems that it would be a fantastic game if you could get together 256 people that don't have their heads stuck up their arse :v Doesn't seem too appealing for someone that doesn't enjoy teamwork/communication etc. The main appeal is in having a group of friends/a good clan to play with because playing with 255 strangers in a game that wants, nay, REQUIRES teamwork isn't too fun.
So again, before I decide to buy it or not- why didn't you guys like it?

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
MAG is an acronym that stands for Massive Action Game, it's a PS3 exclusive that got released a few days ago. Its main appeal/innovation is online FPS matches with up to 256 players in a single fight.

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Nothing in it is satisfying, the graphics are bland, no ironsight animations, and it just played clunky

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
This is horrible! I just got it as a very late Christmas gift TODAY, and I haven't been able to open or play it yet, and now I'm reading all of this horrible stuff about it. Thanks a lot.

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
There's a PC game similar where u have to pay each month and it has absolutely massive maps and up to 400 players (I think it was called Planetside or something). I've never played it, but it sounds interesting and relevant to MAG.

>Nothing in it is satisfying, the graphics are bland, no ironsight animations, and it just played clunky So basically it's just an unpolished experience? As long as it doesn't have anything that's a real dealbreaker I'll still probably buy it >MAG sucks, all it has is players and lag Friends of mine (reliable ones at that) reported no lag on fully packed servers. I would suggest trying to playing with a connection faster than dial-up speed.
