Oh man, that reminds me of one match where me and this other guy were having missile duels and suddenly, out of ♥♥♥♥ nowhere, his speed being around 2500 or so, a suicide bomber comes right towards me and detonates his payload right in my face.
The second time he tried to do it he got a missile to the face before he was close enough to hit me.

Just played against MLC a bit, and this ship is painfully easy to stop if you have LRMs

Also: Torpedoes have a neat homing mechanic, and they are really devastating if they hit.

That was actually me messing around with it.
But yeah, it's not good against missiles, which is why I added a flare to it later.

Also: LightGun spam is worst ship design, FACT.

2x sonic speed missile strike fighter is best design. Except against lasers. Lasers are terrifying.

IF you are thinking "meh, all azakans ships are dumb and stupid" then you should atleast try this fairly uniqe ship. The two platforms in front are whats stearing the ship with help from turrets :D

Cheese mode ship - three rail guns with aimbot, semi-fast (~1200) and stealthy.

Gunship, I have never been killed in this one (suicide once - as I were drifting towards the map end, no one around), about 80 kills in it. Miniguns in turrets, kinda slow, very though.

A extremely hard hitting ship, with a design flaw as were shown later - one missle will destroy several or all of the guns...


Anyone more then me that thinks Point-defence software is overpriced?

This is the game I have been waiting for my entire life. Slick 2D graphics, excellent performance, outstanding gameplay and customizability.

Unfortunately I'm absolutely broke. :cry:

Does any kind soul have $15.00 to spare? This would make my whole month, my christmas, and my birthday at the same time.

I present to you my first two decent ship designs:

The CH-06 Brute:

The Brute is surprisingly maneuverable and packs a heavy punch with it's 5 120mm cannons. Frontal and back armor offers protection.

The CH-08 Hawk:

An agile dogfighter equipped with two turrets carrying 3 Light Guns and and 1 50mm cannon each.

Both of these can use their maneuvering thrusters for a boost or airbrake (Q/E, respectively), at the cost of maneuverability. Trying to turn whilst doing this will result in you flying around in circles :P

Ive had buyers remorse from too many indie games now that its become "the thing"

it has bots, for a server, you may have to get on steam and add one of us and generally ask if there a server up i havn't played gimbal much since i reached the max rank and money purely cause my PC is too ♥♥♥♥ to handle most of the fights.
