Also you NEED original ARMA 2 and Operation Arrowhead to play this mod. Just Arrowhead won't do. I have it, my other friend does too. If we could bet a group together it would be nice.

Actually no, you don't. You can get away with only arrowhead.

It would. But then again I'm also aware that I've been playing with only operation arrowhead for a while now.

So me and my friends have our own Server up, I may see if the hoster of it will allow more people onto the server but it does require to connect to it via Lan/Hamachi.

Regardless i adore the game, got myself a Revolver and a Lee endfield.

Got pretty lucky looting Stary Sobor a few days ago. Found a coyote pack and some ammo, but the real good stuff came from a guy who happened to log in just as I was sneaking around the tents. I was lying in one of them waiting for a zombie to pass by, looking into the tent opposite of me, when he spawned in in exactly the tent I was looking into bearing an M249. He looked around for about one second when I decided it was going to be either him or me and shot him. So now I'm carrying a SAW with plenty of ammo (2 belts and a bunch of STANAGs) and an AK-74 with assorted munitions in my backpack. I felt pretty bad for him at first, but since he logged in in the middle of freaking Stary Sobor military camp he was either hopping servers to get as much loot as possible, stupid or just really unlucky.

well i need to get some permission from the hoster since it all on his computer, he's dunno how much he'll be able to hold but what i know is you need hamachi to Join using his IP.

EDIT: spoke to him and he said it fine however you may need to get Tunngle. But for now you add me on steam (lord_von_kain) and i'll invite you to the chat with the hoster as well for number of people.

Debug plains, endless rolling hills and plains... Food and water have long since ran out. There's a rainbow to the East, if only I could reach it...

Hey, I just got ARMA II: Combined Operations, and the DayZ mod. Anyone want to play it with me?

Unless you got it for super cheap, not the best investment. The DayZ standalone should be coming out late this month, says the chatter on DayZ. Of course, it'll be a WIP release, much like Cortex Command is/was. Lots of great things to look forward to, what with Bohemia helping Rocket and the other sources of inspiration and support he has. Follow the dev blog on tumblr, dayzdev.

Of course, ArmA II and Arrowhead are great, too, but it's a fair bet that you weren't quite as interested in them when you bought 'em.

Actually, I bought it FOR arma. I am not some random DayZ "Fanboi".
