Re: Dwarf-DRL Fortress
Trader is broken up into several skills, and fishing has a nasty tendency to take precedence above all other tasks. Think of something else?
Foil, exact points?
Anvil start with the current abudance of ores everywhere is rather profitable.

Re: Dwarf-DRL Fortress
I'd like at least proficient, but whatever makes the group a bit more well prepared suits me just fine.

Re: Dwarf-DRL Fortress
Or both.
I took some liberties with the skills, Foil and unwound.
Only 2 more dwarves left. Ease up on the military dwarves now, thanks.

Re: Dwarf-DRL Fortress
I'll play at some point, but not till after exams. As such, pity my puny processor and embark on a 3x3, perhaps? Or I'll have to use the overkill massivebox to play, which will make me far less likely to get anything done with the abundance of photoshop and 3d-graphics-potential of that machine.

Re: Dwarf-DRL Fortress
Well, there's really no telling when the new version is actually going to come out. No point starting one now, either. The new devlog devnovella post (http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/) didn't exactly clear this up. We'll see. Might be as early as wednesday this week. I'm thinking medium, or maybe even small world, so the save will be lightweight. I'd prefer stock size embark so that you can squeeze mountains, soil and a river on the site. Geti, have you experiemented with any of the new technical graphics settings the game has in init? Try them out. Or with the massiveoverkill(tm) box, try fullscreen. :U What do you think about the turns? Oh, and: Quote: Adittionally, when sharing saves, should we cut out the raws included in the save file and have the next person copy them manually in there?

Re: Dwarf-DRL Fortress
Why did you say only non-players could have dwarves named after them?
