What no I couldn't because I literally was getting shot from multiple directions within seconds of spawning.

Happens from time to time if you get owned. Be sure to check player counts in the tab menu.
I just had a SUPERFUN game with 7 clowns teamstacking on one server. Got ♥♥♥♥ knifed, should've really shot them some more. Managed to kill a few before they bombed the base. Not very fun.

Re: Battlefield 3
Why do scopes seem to magnify light when you look at them? Just then I was going up against two snipers with an SKS with 4x, and I couldn't see their bodies because it looked like they had floodlights for scopes.

Re: Battlefield 3
Scope glint. Balances campers or something.
Lizard's too good at this. Like, almost MVP with 400 ping. I got disconnected due to wifi troubles so I didn't get to see most of it but what I did get to see was almost scary. He's one of those guys who runs around killing everyone who you swear at every 2 minutes or so who occasionally chats back ":)" while all the enemies' heads explode.

Re: Battlefield 3
Scope glint or scope-high-beam-floodlight-flamethrower-torch-miniature-suns? Either way I think it's a little too noticeable. This game really is turning out good, though it could use a little variety in the map rotation.

Re: Battlefield 3
The scope glint is to balance all of the bush wokkies that were in BC2, and also to balance the prone. Imagine if it wasn't there, how absurd it would be. I also think it's quite noticeable for what a glint really should be, but I'd rather that than the alternative.
Also military flashlights are brighter than suns. Hence military.

Re: Battlefield 3
I enjoy using the 870 equipped with the holographic sights. In fact, it's the only weapon I can actually get a reasonable score with.
On another note, the graphics of this game are fantastic! Unfortunately, my computer can't handle the max graphics at a playable framerate, but even the medium settings I have right now showcase the graphics very well.

Re: Battlefield 3
Why did I not realize there are fire modes on guns. Why am I so stupid. This makes everything 10x better. And flashlights can be turned off? So happy.

Re: Battlefield 3
Wait what there's firing modes
Also: the scope glint is the tactical flashlight I believe. Everyone uses the tactical flashlight.

Re: Battlefield 3
No it's scope glint.
And yes there are fire modes, just like in battlefield 2.

Hm. Those are some goddamn hyper-brand reflective lenses they're using, then.
Idiot question: How do you change fire modes?

Re: Battlefield 3
Yeah UMP is OP as ♥♥♥♥. I hate getting dropped when I'm on a good streak by two shots from the UMP.
