Re: EXILE Development
I can't tell if you're agreeing with me or not, Coops. Your post made no sense.
I said the last explosion was probably an IED, rather than a car bomb as Geti thought possible
then you post a video of an IED that pretty much proves my point and then you say...someone was wrong?
when I say "a couple of artillery shells" I mean an IED made out of a couple of artillery shells; that's one of the most common bulk explosives available over in the sand
in other news, how's exile going

Hahah, slowly. I've got a lot of exams on my plate currently. I'll probably slice up the map file tonight though and might get a basic layering system going along with cameras and parallax on the sky once/if I've imported the terrain.

Re: EXILE Development
Oh I thought you didn't think it was an IED. When I read Grif wrote: geti that last pic looks more like a couple artillery shells buried under the concrete I was thinking that you thought it was Just that instead of an IED. But hell, IED's can be anything though. But we have come to our understanding now.

Re: EXILE Development
Just making sure, but you do know that IED just means Improvised Explosive Device right? Anything that you're sort of throwing together that blows up can be classified as an IED. But sure, it's likely I'm wrong about it being a car bomb. I'm not in the know about that kind of stuff.

Re: EXILE Development
When we're all done with arguing about car bombs and such, how's a beta-test going? I don't really care if everything's missing, just lemmie roam around this crater!

Re: EXILE Development
That would imply that I'd cut out said crater and put it in game at all.

Hmm, I thought that was your plan. Well then.

Re: EXILE Development
Twas and is. I did just recently reinstall the computer that the .psd was on, and it's on my backup disk. I'll fish it out at some point, but at the moment Prelude is more fun to work on. I'll perhaps do all the necessary splits at some point this week, if I'm reminded.

Well, I don't really care what one you work on, they both look fantastic.
