Yeah, Steam support is not very productive... I need a miracle for them to send me a response, but its the most I can hope for. Im thinking about putting a thread in the help area of the forums aswell, if the registration for the forums whould work. In the mean time im gonna play portal.

Or uh you know... Please don't take thIs the wRong wAy, buT, don't stEal the game or anything : ) Cant get a job , bellow age. Chouldent get a job anyway, no jobs in local area or province most likely, due to collapse of industry in the area or outsourcing. Besides if I stole Gmod I whouldent be able to get nescessary addons from garrysmod.org or connect to any servers. I wonder if the support has replied to my ticket....

Re: gmawd
Hey guys, I just want to announce my server, Sakki's Wonderland. I might be changing the name to IHoW, but for right now it's just a build server with a couple mods. I'm gonna be putting more mods up, according to peoples request. 98.199.13.240

Re: gmawd
OK guys. Here's the deal. I don't really have time to be the "community event coordinator" or whatever. I'm happy to pay for the server as long as some one else fills that role and admins it for me *and* you guys use it. So who's it gonna be? Step up. Second month's rent is due tomorrow. Should I even pay it?
You guys tell me.

Re: gmawd
Do not stop paying, I'm sure Thor or Grif or somebody more active than I would be able to fulfill the requirements.

Re: gmawd
I was waiting for direction from somebody who's a SUPER GMOD PRO GUY
I'm happy to 'schedule' ♥♥♥♥ but it's all gonna be fairly nonspecific and all that jazz because I'm not down with doing everything

Re: gmawd
What do you guys do in this game? I'm kinda interested in "box of lego" type games like this, but whenever I watch gameplay no one's doing anything.
@Grif I love your avatar.

Re: gmawd
The gist of gmod: Spawn 'props' which you then use various means of attachment to fix together to form different constructions
Tools like Smartsnap and Smartweld make precision and more advanced structures possible.
Model packs like PHX contain standardized props (rather than models taken out of HL2, TF2, etc) that are better for building larger, more complex structures that aren't prone to random failure.
Wiremod is probably the greatest addition to gmod ever conceived; it's a framework of tools that basically allows you to, entirely ingame, construct massively elaborate electrical (and, with expression chips, scripted) objects with many different functions.
Gmod lets you crash a HL2 vehicle into a bunch of HL2 props; Wiremod lets you build a car that you can control while sitting in a seat, and then lets you crash it into something that detects your proximity and starts an entirely physics-realized fireworks show.
Some of the ♥♥♥♥ Wire gurus do is mindblowing. Check out some threads on Facepunch if you want to be amazed.
Also, thanks. (about the avatar.)

Re: gmawd
Is the server down? I clicked the link in the thread, but it doesn't seem to be recognising that there should be a server there...
