KK then, save downloaded. Hopefully I'll manage to flood the pit. Just you wait.

Also, I can't stop laughing at "one legendary miner sponaneously exploded, it was the main event".

Well he did; his body's probably still in pieces at the bottom if you look for it, I don't know if we have a graveyard.
Only other time that's happened to me was with a cat, the only notification you get is a purple "<entity> has died after colliding with an obstacle", which I'd call an understatement.

Well, at least now I've built him a nice all-glass mausoleum on the bottom of our all-glass magma tank, so he should be forever remembered as "the dwarf that exploded for no apparent reason while digging a huge pit". I've also renamed him to Atlas, just because. Duh, just so you know, you've become possessed and created the Great Chain of industry, so now all of our engravers worship you as some kind of glassmaking goddess. Yeah.

Am I even still alive, or did I once again wither into carpentrying obscurity?

So wait, where is this glass-encased magma chamber? Did you drain the original pit into the deep pit?

Currently, you are our main buildsmith (carpenter+mason+glassmaker+etc), and your last name is Machinemaster, so I think you'll end up being a mechanic.

Also, we've just been through an ambush, and it was AWSOM. Allow me to explain...

First, I saw the "an ambush! Curse them!" announcement, and while I was busy cursing vehemently, the goblins invaded our sand-gathering area. I quickly dispatched the military, but before they managed to get there, a peasant had been beat to death, and a pump operator had a crossbow bolt stuck in each of his eyes. I was kinda thankful that they were two useless dwarves, but then I noticed that Big Cheese was right there, in the middle of the battlefield! I drafted him, hoping that I could then station him somewhere safe, but instead of running away, he just proceeded to run around the marksgoblins in diagonal patterns, making them waste all their ammo and not hit him once. He then proceeded to wrestle a nearby kobold thief, punching him three times: on the first one, the thing's stomach was broken; on the second one, it was horribly mangled, and on the last one, it just flew off altogether, leaving a bloody hole on the monster's lower body, covering the whole area with entrails and gore. Then the soldiers arrived. They massacred most of the enemies with their hammers. One hammerdwarf hit a wrestlegoblin so hard that he flew off at high speed on a completely random direction, being hit, while flying, by one of his comrades' last bolt, hitting the said goblin and smashing him to a pulp, and proceeding to explode after hitting a pillar. The goblin warchief was the one that gave us the most trouble, breaking one of our guys' leg, but then a macedwarf got to him and, with a single strike severed both of his arms. But the monster was a stubborn one, and proceeded to bite whoever he could reach. Another hammerdwarf threw him over two screens to the south, but the beast was still alive, although broken and bleeding. Only when our squad leader came and smashed his head with a copper hammer did the goblin give in to pain, and proceeded to die after bleeding for a day or two. AWSOM.

(For some reason, when the warchief's arms were cut off, I couldn't imagine anything other than a red-eyed dwarf, totally covered in blood, standing on top of a armless but still alive goblin, while screaming RAAAAARRRRR! and swinging his mace above his head. )

And Duh, the magma chamber is right at the bottom of the pit, I'm still working on filling it with actual magma.

I think it's safe to say our dwarves are all bosses and on a boat, while throwing it on the ground.

Well, tomaster, here is the save. Hope you enjoy your turn, and feel free to build stuff in the pit, just keep some distance from what's already there, if you would.

EDIT: Actually, I think I'm gonna PM you this, just so we don't have another forgotten turn.

P.S. Good luck dealing with the tantrum spiral, we had a bad siege. But look at the bright side, Duh just had a baby!

Just post it until tuesday night, Hyper's turn starts on wednesday.

Also, Duh, it's a girl. And I sure do hope she gets a snazzy title like that, so far the only titled dwarf in the fort is known as "the ultimate tulip of tweeting". :P

EDIT: Also, you are the happiest dwarf in the fort, with OVER 9000, I mean, over 1200 happiness points.

EDITEDIT: And your daughter likes to eat live cats, apparently.

See! She already knows what's good for the community, keeping the cat population down!

Whoever has the file, could you please nickname my daughter to "Verli" for me? :3

Sounds remarkably like my real self.
