Re: Pen 'n Paper Corner! Paranoia anyone?
Sounds like fun to me!
I'll probably need some help with learning new systems/getting new PDF books, but after that it should be fine. I'd personally prefer less "roleplaying", but still elements where working puzzles out and talking to people is Important, as opposed to just pure dungeon crawling, if that sounds good.
The only catch is that I'm not sure 100% that I can play on a reliable basis. I'll get back to you on that.

I'm down for nWoD, Shadowrun, L5R (haven't learned the fluff yet, know how R&K works though), Pathfinder, Eclipse Phase, homebrews, and basically anything else.
Would we run via IRC through the drlchat on Rizon or do you really want to use maptools or some other virtual tabletop?

I'm thinking of starting up a scenario where the intro scene is random, but you just basically crash into an unmapped island in the South Atlantic Ocean where the sun never shines. (<--- not joking, its always night there) Then you emerge from the wreck, find an abandoned army base, and you find some survivors there. Turns out its a mining facility that was abandoned and you have to try and fix it. There are over 100 outcomes, because the mines below seem to stretch as far as North America (don't forget Canada folks). Anybody up for a game of this later today, tomorrow or maybe the next day?
Edit: Also quick question, how do I start logging stuff on the IRC.

Copy and pasting doesn't work for longer games where the beginning will go off of the chat history. You need to log it. You can't do it using Mibbit, you have to get a IRC client for your computer.
Each client has its own way of logging chats, so I can't really help you there. Google is your friend.

EDIT: actually I can't find a diff good program thats not either a crappy gui interface, no log or no compat with W7. So uh. Whats yours

Most people use mIRC, though you can browse Wikipedia's list of them.

For some reason, its not working, so I need to borrow one of the IRC chats. You don't have to though, you could just make another one, or you could just cancel my entry. Its k with me if you do.

I'm kinda coming in just now, and haven't read the preceding posts much, but I just played Paranoia the other day, and it was loads of fun. To help out with IRC, I usually just use Mibbit.

When I was logging games I used Chatzilla, a plug-in for Mozilla Firefox. It's pretty easy to log, and you can log individual channels. They're automatically saved somewhere in the AppData folder.
