In case you've never heard of it, Men of War is a World War II based RTS with a steep learning curve, but great physics, vehicle combat, and an encompassing cover system for infantry that takes advantage of the destructible terrain.

Every tank round, bullet, and rocket flies, shrieks, and punctures exactly how it would in real-life due to the ballistics system the game uses. AP rounds fired from tanks will go straight through thin skinned vehicles and thin walls. They will also deflect off of angled surfaces.

Vehicles have no health bars. Tank combat works similar to it does in real-life, with each vehicle having a crew. Everything has an inventory as well, so not even the basic soldier has infinite ammunition, nor is he restricted to the gun or hat he starts with.


So, with all that up there, does anyone else play it? Could we get some 5v5s with the open beta going?

To whoever of you haven't played anything by these developers yet: ♥♥♥♥ IS HARD.
I consider myself to be reasonable in both strategy games and top down shooters, but I can honestly not complete some of the first missions in their games.
Although the one game of multiplayer I played was truly awesome, because everyone just took a tiger/kv-2 and went top down shooter mode.

Errmm...How do I play single player?

You go into the internet lobby, then start a game with the mode skirmish, then make sure nobody joins.
