Re: Brink
Highly team-based, dynamicism-focused gameplay. It's what I enjoy.

Re: Brink
Laggy and barely playable. ATI cards are credit to 3d gaming.

Re: Brink
I didn't really get playability issues apart from lack of good servers in the middle of the day, so if you get issues yeah, that'd reduce the enjoyment of it quite a bit.

And I don't find the lag that bad actually. It just takes a couple of tries to find a good server. I wish there were lobbies for the challenge games though.

Re: Brink
Total Biscuit did a fairly in-depth and extensive review of the game here. It's an hour long video, by the way.

Re: Brink
Do any of the guns in this game have recoil/need aiming down sights?

Re: Brink
Yeah, pretty much every gun has recoil.

Re: Brink
If you watch any LP of it, basically everyone comments that the recoil is much more than they are used to. Guns must be fired in extremely short bursts to retain long-range accuracy and the amount of damage at that range is significantly less.

Re: Brink
I don't think that the recoil is that high, it just dissipates much slower than in the average shooty. Muzzle brakes and grips help.

Re: Brink
Yeah with a muzzle brake and a grip it's nonexistant. It's more present on some guns than others though, like the light rifles.

Re: Brink
The game looks pretty interesting I'm thinking about getting it but I hear all these mixed things about it... My internet connection is very poor (I never get 4 bars in CoD) do you guys recommend it?

Re: Brink
The connection stuff for me is perfectly fine and, from what I hear, generally fine on PC. As for whether or not you should get it, I'd watch some LPs of it and see if it's the sort of game you'd like to play. The gameplay can be fairly divisive, so if you don't like it you won't like the game at all. The Total Biscuit review I linked earlier has a decent amount of gameplay that might be enough for you to form your opinion.
