Quadradius
Game of strategy and random powerups that contort the field and turn near defeats into stunning victories. Asp beat me his first two games even though I had a lot more experience than him. This is because he's a dirty cheating ♥♥♥♥♥. the game is easy to pick up and the randomness of the powerups allows anyone to get a lead. And it's all in browser so you don't have to worry about downloading anything. Oh and here's a tutorial video. 99 seconds, explains all the core principles of the game. Here's the extended players manual if you want to get srs about the game.

Re: Quadradius
Here's a screenshot of a game ending move between me and Sauber. I just used a Learn Row combined with a quadradius to gather the powers of my entire force at once in once super powered piece. He honorably resigned right after, the game was pretty much over at this point.

I might play some of this this weekend if I can find time, looks like it could be interesting.

Re: Quadradius
I'm bumping this again, because I'm ready to kick ass and take names in Quadradius right now. PM me or just post in this thread with whatever name you're using on site and I'll come find you and rape your face into the ground.

D: This is pretty much top of my list of gameplay elements that I do not want in a game.

D: This is pretty much top of my list of gameplay elements that I do not want in a game. It's more fun than it sounds, play enough games of it and you'll experience the entire spectrum, 'I just got 4 quadradius!' to 'What the ♥♥♥♥ Sauber I can't believe the game would let you use that many smart bombs in a turn.'

Re: Quadradius
Actually having random dumb ♥♥♥♥ killing me isn't even that big of a deal for me. I at least get to ♥♥♥♥♥ about it which is as fun, if not more, than actually playing games.
It's winning because of it that just robs me of any fun I might have had.

To clarify, the game doesn't just throw you a power up, they're deposited onto the field and you have to secure them before your enemy does. Adds strategy/actual skill by figuring how best to steal/deny the power from/to your opponent.

Re: Quadradius
This is pretty fun, I lost hard against MLC because I didn't know what I was doing, and because the game decided that I should lose when I was about to unleash BOMBS with my last piece.
We ought to get a lil' DRL tourney going.

Spread the word. Try to get at least 10 people in on it and I'll sort it out.
