As you may or may not be aware, I have been working on a mission called Sweet Dreams. In one of the missions, I'm hoping to make a Super Mario World castle, complete with sprites, sounds, and music, however I am finding problems. All of the sprites in SMW are of sizes that are multiples of 16, however the grid for the scene editor snaps to 12 pixels... I can't make a castle very easily. Of course, I could make a castle as one big terrain object, but I would have to switch back and forth with PhotoShop all the time... Is there an easier solution? |

Perhaps make one bid terrain object, get a picture of it and scale it by er... 12/16 so 3/4. Yes that works. Get a real nice pic on a plain bg, resize it to 3/4 of it's original size and put it in palette. Is that easier for you? |

Sprites are going to look pretty horrible scaled to 3/4. You're either going to have to hold fire when placing the block to put it precisely in place, or manually add the pieces to an INI file. |

Don't rip off other peoples work when it doesn't even work directly. Make your own 12x12 blocks in the same style. |

Extend the 16x16 blocks to 24x24. |
