Post subject:  Help with my mission

As you may or may not be aware, I have been working on a mission called Sweet Dreams. In one of the missions, I'm hoping to make a Super Mario World castle, complete with sprites, sounds, and music, however I am finding problems. All of the sprites in SMW are of sizes that are multiples of 16, however the grid for the scene editor snaps to 12 pixels... I can't make a castle very easily. Of course, I could make a castle as one big terrain object, but I would have to switch back and forth with PhotoShop all the time...

Is there an easier solution?

Perhaps make one bid terrain object, get a picture of it and scale it by er... 12/16 so 3/4. Yes that works. Get a real nice pic on a plain bg, resize it to 3/4 of it's original size and put it in palette. Is that easier for you?

Sprites are going to look pretty horrible scaled to 3/4. You're either going to have to hold fire when placing the block to put it precisely in place, or manually add the pieces to an INI file.

Don't rip off other peoples work when it doesn't even work directly.

Make your own 12x12 blocks in the same style.

Extend the 16x16 blocks to 24x24.

That was a rude comment. In my opinion that is.
