I appear to have a problem with the material physics in my terrain in a custom made map. When imported into the game, the earth (i think) on the entire left side of the map (on the left side of the crater) is non-solid; units fly striaght through it. Also, when stepping on it in certain places, the entire region of earth will fall or dissappear leaving a huge empty space where it used to be.

I had a similar problem once. Is the terrain replaced in game by a red texture?

The second problem sounds like an isscrap problem, is there a background (like in bunkermodules or caves, not sky) behind it?

Well, there's a small cave built into it, if that intersects it by just a pixel would that cause this problem?

But there's allways a default background behind solid materials to take the presence of areas which have been dug out.

Very annoying problem on non-wrapping maps. Just put a single pixel of pink in the top-left corner and it should fix it. Sometimes CC deletes the material in the top-left corner---hard to explain but it does it sort of like the paint bucket tool, except that it deletes it.

That fixed it, the ground is solid now, thanks very much for the help.

What a strange problem.
