Worth releasing: Y/N? Remake of a super classic Unreal Tournament Map Also, don't mind the background, the composite image ♥♥♥♥ it up. Gold will be added later. |

One problem you might have, the nonstandard modules I see there, the blast doors and rotated tall doors, ventilation shafts, etc. Unless you require the BMCP or included them. Map itself: Looks alright. A little small perhaps, but playable. |

Looks good. I can remember that particular level well. One of the best multiplayer shooters ever i.m.o. |

Not too shabby, I suppose. Well made, for a remake. |

It's not gonna loop, is it? |

@Duh102: Isn't the point of mods and user-created CC items to BE non standard? I can't see it being much of an issue. I will include the files that are downloaded anyway. @Gotcha!: Hell yes. I love Facing worlds to death even long long long after UT99. @ProjektODIN: Thanks! @venn177: Definitely no. I don't like looping at all. And especially for this remake, it would detract from the authenticity. |

Too bad there's no way to make the hole in the middle without turning it into a pit. D: |

That was the point. If you never played UT99, you wouldn't fully understand. Facing Worlds in its original glory. Grade on the 1999 gaming standard before you bash the obviously sub-par graphics. =P I don't do it justice because I A) Lack the third plane, and B) Can't get an animated GIF to simulate the rotation in space that added so much flavor to the original. |

its in 2004 also. I never had the game, but the demo was pretty tight. Instagib on that map gave SO many holy shiites against the bots |

UT99 Classic instagib was badass, with Low Gravity, etc. They've done Facing Worlds in every UT release, it was that epic. Even the new UTIII has a facing worlds map. http://pnmedia.gamespy.com/planetunreal ... /face1.jpg Crazy how far gaming has come in less than a decade. |

I switched out my music to Forgone Destruction, the Facing Worlds classic theme that is still used on the incarnates of today. Epic. I wish we had the ability to hard code integrated music per map though, so I wouldn't have to hear this across every battle. |

release it. This map is fun as, and it'll be just as good in Cortex Command. |

I will, I'm just redoing the terrain a bit, added way more topsoil than I thought, and I'm painting in gold veins. The last thing to do is put all the custom tiles into the Rte properly. I could always just include the whole file, but that's a lazy way to go about it and would be some unnecessary material for those who don't want or already have the tiles. Working on it as I post on this, so possibly tonight I'll throw it out there. EDIT: Released! Check the Scene Release forum, opted for the Gold bars in each base instead of in the asteroid itself, didn't feel destroying what little terrain was between the play area and death was a good idea. |
