Well, the title says it all, basically. I'd like a dedicated door breaching charge. I understand that we have the remote explosives, but those sometimes take two or three to destroy a door. What I'd like is something that has enough force to destroy a door and do some damage to units on the inside.

As for the looks, it doesn't need to be anything fancy. I'd just like it to look like a cool-looking landmine turned sideways. If it could have a little blinking light once placed, that'd be awesome, but that's totally unnecessary and I'll not have any problem if it's not there. I'll leave the explosion up to you. Surprise me. :)

This thing doesn't need a separate detonator. If it can be done using the stock detonator, that'd be great.

I can give it a go.

But one question, would you like it to destroy terrain (so it will leave a huge hole in the bunker) or do you want it only to damage the door?

EDIT:

Well, I can make a lua script to make it even more fancy so, some more questions.

Do you want the explotion to be directed or radial?
If you want it to be directed, do you want it to be directed to both sides or only to the side where the door is?
If you want it to be directed against the door only, do I make it activate via pie menu to select the side, or would you want only to throw it?
Do you want it to have zero-low terrain rape, medium terrain rape or huge terrain rape?

Ok, finished!
I love it!

The pie menu is a bit messy, I placed 4 with the directions 1, 2, 3 and 4, but pie slices 3 and 4 are almost in random directions.

Anyway, it works fine; you can activate it as an explosive charge aiming at either side or you can activate it as a mine aiming to either side!

Now, the only secret to gib doors on impact are high mass particles with 0 sharpness; doors should always gib (provided you got the right space between the explosive and the door).

It's quite interesting, but I'm encountering some problems.

One, it seems to have a mind of it's own when it comes to sticking to doors. Most of the time it will, but sometimes it will simply fall to the ground.

Second, it seems to detonate on its own a lot, was this intended?

Third, it's finicky when it explodes. Sometimes it will break the door, sometimes it won't.

Is there something I'm doing wrong, or can you make adjustments?

It's not supposed to stick to doors, you just got to drop it nearby.

And detonate by itself? What do you mean with that?

I'll strengthen it up.

I suppose I should have been a bit more clear. >.< Sorry, I wanted it to stick to doors.

90% of the time, after I place the bomb, the bomb will detonate on its own after about, best guess, four to seven seconds.

It's stronger, it keeps without sticking, but still, I don't know what's the problem of the random activation.

For me it activates perfectly. I just select the direction and throw it right after that, then I wait a bit and boom!

Are you sure you aren't picking the mine option or something like that?

Well, what should I change now?

I think the problem is that there was a misunderstanding. What I was trying to say is that I wanted it to be remotely detonated. I think that's the problem I was encountering. I was trying to use the detonator, but it wasn't coed to use the detonator. You don't have to change this, now that I know how it's supposed to work.

Ok dude, so, to get things straight right now (and use dragon's sprites):

Explain me, as detailed as possible, how do you want it to work, using it's current functions as a reference, what should I change/add/remove, etc.

(Still, I won't touch this little charge/mine I've made, I just love it badly! I'll just make a new one)

Okay. I want a charge that is used to breach doors. I want it strong enough to destroy the door and do damage to the units on the inside. I want it to be thrown, much as it is now. The directional functions on the pie menu are great, but I do not need a mine function. I want the charge to be able to stick to doors, and I want it to be detonatable using the stock detonator. Please, no auto-detonate.

(Don't worry, I'll be keeping yours, too. It's pretty awesome, and it can have plenty of uses in it's own right)
