seriously folks! We have Rockets, Scripting, AND Alot of mayham. Let's breath some life into a Racing Mod! First, too kick off discussion, What are the Sane Limits of horizontal and vertical space in CC? can Vertical Space be Looped? Can Gravity/Air resistance be turned down/off? is there support to "map jump" for seamless campaigns? (Yes I went there!) and lastly: Can CC's engine allow for timing and potentially Lap Keeping? Let's get Rolli... err.. Smoking! |

Wonderful.. Unfortuently, I don't know alot of or about Lua.. i'mma start learning it, But I'm definatly open too both help and ideas.. |

Map wrapping is viable in both the X and Y directions. I spent a good amount of time ♥♥♥♥ around with what was effectively space that was infinite by means of recursion. It is surprisingly fun. Anyway, as for lap-tracking, you might make some sort of actor or some such that records when it is passed by another actor, and place that as the marker for the end of a lap. Timers have been done. I think. Gravity and air resistance are alterable variables, yes. See "Exodus" in Scene Releases. It has different scenes together in one mission. |

Lord Tim already made a scene involving racing rockets. It did so successfully that it hasn't been updated to the latest build and barely exists on the forum at all. |

<3 watermelon racing. Porting all those old "game modes" to B24-style "game modes" would be cool, and not too time-consuming either. |
