Upon further investigation, I think firing them horizontally would prove decapitating. Not to convince anyone that I'll be actually be making this.

Firing them horizontally shouldn't actually be able to decapitate better than otherwise, unless there is a fairly significant gap between the body and the head or you can't otherwise accurately hit the head.

P.S: Or a shotgun type one which fires 5 shields? also i do indeed mean riot shields. But with extra sharpness. And them not being equipable.

Alright, fine.

I'll give it a shot.

EDIT: Okay, I want sprites now. Something that looks like the particle accelerator.

EDIT2: PRELIM TESTING NOW

EDIT3: didn't work so well. Debugging.

EDIT4: WELL THEN. That didn't work. Back to square one.

Hm, this isn't working.
It's just not acting right, could somebody give me a hand?

Try this one. Make sure you use the new version. mostly I need someone to test this because i'm using teamviewer to get to my stuff at home. so
I cant run cc at more thaqn 5 fps, and it's hard to type at 1 fops. please pm me withyour results. if errors come up, plese give me details.

EDIT: DON'T EVERYONE TRY THIS AT ONCE! I got it working, but that sprite I got send is not in palette.

maybe he means unbreakable shields but still. use the search button and search for "unbreakable shield gun" and theres already a shield gun in the game its just Not unbreakable shields it fires (i think!)

ive tryed it out though it started out with a error.

fix, mass = 10g inside the weapons.ini
one of the first lines , i think 3th.
should be mass = 10 i guess.

and inside index.ini another error.
shield gun.ini should be shield cannon.ini
// comment shield gun.ini out since the new version is defined in weapons.ini

anyway after fixing those , it loaded alright , weapon sprite is not in palette though and it seems to fire those big metal expoding slugs , no shields.
ive not tested the cheap one included yet , let me check on it.
EDIT:
alright it shoots shields alright, but when they hit the ground i think it gibs into a single particle , and it looks kinda wierd..
hope this helps.

EDIT2:
ive made some changes to your weapon, made it a MOSRotating, gave it some gib data.
gun made into CC palette
and added a lua script to give it more mass after it gets shot.
i'm pretty sure you need to make some adjustments
as of now i don't think the mosrotating has a correct centre of gravity.
i fixed spriteoffset and now has a correct centre of gravity.
and mass got changed to 100 and changed again to a even bigger number what is kinda high, but normall numbers did almost no damage , as the sharpness has no effect when its a mosrotating.

to make the riot shield break, add GibImpulseLimit = 10000
it now breaks, but gibimpulselimit is not acting right, huge numbers do pretty mutch the same as small numbers.
ahh well atleast it delivers.
