Scene Request- Boss Rush[Mission]
I liked Tartarus for the boss, and I like facing bosses in CC, so my request:
A long stage with each sector you face a boss and the goal is to make it to the end where you face a brain-bot armed with a revolver cannon dropship cannon, bosses may include(but not limited to) Behemoth, Punisher, MPAM's, Ninjas, and other actors with difficulty killing.
You get the general idea right?

yeo but you would have to make it so it can spawn drop ships out of the sectors and play on the hardest diffuculty for it to be chalenging (so the AI moves around alot)

But I was thinking more of a pre-spawned actors in large stages each with it's own unique theme depending on the boss. Also some of which are given powerful weapons despite it being already near-invulnerable to most arms(except for the zero-division cannon).

Why don't we start small and make boss battles against 'special units'? I mean, we can only control one actor. Something like Metal Gear Solid 3 boss fights.

Idea for the contender forming....hmmm......not much formed Ok, a 'special' brainbot who's nimble and unarmed in the beginning, can order any LOGICAL weapon via drop crate, then proceed to whoop rear's. Also, one boss could be a speedy robot armed with DUAL-WIELD twin-lightsabers(yeah, you know that, especially with alternating colors).
Also, yeah, but what special units? I got nothing.

Then use only shotguns and melee weapons, like an unnecessarily manly man. Or go single actor with Pulse Blade. And exclusively hunt dropships. None of this 'slice the enemy up' crap - if you want to kill someone you wait until they're in the open and there's a rocket or dropship above them.

Have we ever actually had a fun/difficult boss? When I fought the behemoth it sort of slumped over and shot its shot gun at me until I diggered it's weapons. Then I went to the base of its head and diggered there, too.

Yeah I just dodged over its head a lot 'til it keeled over. I don't think we've really had a particularly fun boss. You'd need to have its AI extensively programmed to prevent it being easy due to CC's basic AI for starters, and then you'd need to give it interesting behaviour apart from that to make it something beyond just shooting at each other until one guy dies.

We could add some stage elements, like turrets, minions and UBER-attacks. Yeah I just watched a Touhou vid.
Also traps, small-medium sized bosses, ones that jump around alot, a stage w/ lots of Phazon Metroids, one with creepers, hydra's, a boss made out of smaller actors(Legion) and....
Boss stages based off/showing off the popular mod Factions(AAL, Darkstorm, Bear Federation, etc....). /ideabot
Or we could all go for faster ones, yeah my ideas suck/are too ambitious
