Cool war idea. Dont know if possible.
Basically whatyou do is start yourown mining/scavenging/spec ops faction and test to see whos more accurate, faster, and smarter. So upload your faction into this thread and let people download it and test. Ill make a testing level. To all the tester people: use my testing grounds or make one. Post yours if you do. Ill make the testing grounds based on throwing,speed,accuracey,strength,and smarts(puzzles!!! ). Wil be done with map in about an hour or two. Check back later!!!

If you're talking making mods, there will be no contest in things like accuracy, since that's directly tied to script that you can edit. As for the other things, I suppose you want to have some videos to show what people can do?

OK, First you make a faction(upload it). Second you make a testing grounds(upload it). Then you take other peoples faction and have a test(sorta like Deadliest Warrior, wacth it if you havent seen it). Take a screen dump (HE HE!!! ) of the factions attempts. Show off. JUST A SUGGESTION.

Accuracy and all that other stuff is tied to script.
In fact, i think grif made this invincible soldier and i have it, and it's impossible to kill.

@salt i will make an actor testing map. @anyone else I dont mean as in accuracy of your guy. look. What you do is make an actor (auto equipped) Then other people take your actor and/or map and test it against theirs. EXAMPLE COMING YOUR WAY!!!!

Thanks for the interest of my idea. But the whole point is for anyone including me and you to test others in my testing area. About my map. I dont know how to do the whole thing. All i know is you have to take it and put it in scenes under base.

As a quick sidenote: NEVER POST .BMP SCREENSHOTS, THEY ARENT COMPRESSED IN ANY WAY AND THIS RESULTS IN A HUGE DOWNLOAD FOR A TINY IMAGE. Please use .png or progressively scanned highest quality .jpg (if you dont know what the second bit means, use .png) Also this is pointless in it's very premise. You need maps that test the actor in the context of the game, not "shoot here do this blah blah", if you wanted to be tricky you'd script a run through the map and get it to post time and damage taken (or a "didnt complete" run), and have some enemies that shoot at you etc, not a wall to shoot at with a weapon with set spread and damage..

Gun accuracy is a variable, speed is just walkpaths, and AI intelligence is universally retarded, with very nearly no exceptions. This request makes no sense to anyone who has undertaken content creation for CC.
An AI competition, on the other hand, would be interesting. But because it would need to be Lua-based actor hijacking, it would be limited to those who both know how to script the actors. Not to mention being really kludgey. Not a good idea, especially with all of these newbies who want code/sprites/scripts done for them, and think that concepts are worth trading for these things.
