Post Bigger drop ship with 3 unload hatches
Yeah i would like a drop ship that is made with vanilla parts and has similiar unload to vanilla drop ship but 3 of them. So it would drop units 3 at a time. And it would prevent drop kills when you load ship with 4 actors and more.

I have no idea how to make ships or their gibs so unless you can't help you could give me some good tips on making them.

I always like to drop in atleast 4 soldiers and it seems like only Kloveskan drop ship gets them there without them killing each other (even though they tend to do that in KMF drop ship too)

So its like 3 vanilla drop ships welded together to have 3 hatches to bring down troops. Exept you could make it look abit better than just 3 welded together :P

Well, the exits would be easy (just n times AddExit, different places on the DS) but the doors would be somewhat of a problem. CC's DS is hard-coded to have only 2 doors, so that will limit design. Basically it'll be a DS with either a big loading door like vanilla DS to conceal any-numbered exits, or two doors to conceal even-numbered exits (to the side).

I suppose you could "fix" that with fake doors, moved with Lua.
But would this be like three dropships side by side, with their hulls fused?

I think this would be pretty freaking awesome, and I'm willing to try to apply Lua to the task, but I'm working on my own stuff at the moment. If this thread results in something useful like sprites and some code, the attraction is greater.

Hmm 1 big hatch could maybe work. It would need sprites which i can't make because i really suck making them.

I know this IS the requests forum but you could try harder to produce something and get help, rather than just wait for others.
Just ram some ship hulls together in paint, for concept work.

Easier: Make doors animate with 3 doors. As in, the two doors each have three which slide together in the animation.

Disadvantage: Shooting one door off results in the shooting off of three.

Way around it: Attachables?
