Here's a relatively simple idea.

I think a nice addition to the game would be a good Armored Personnel Carrier. Something about the size of the EDV Armored Car, but the main fire button would open a hatch on the back. It would be great if it had jumpjets like the tanks in the metal slug mod, and you could also bind a light machinegun to the "down" key, like the "up" key machine gun from the armored car.

This would be great for armor suppor for light actors, and would also be good for transporting a crew of jetpackless actors through difficult terrain. Sure, you could use a dropship, but I find the AI hover to be unreliable.

Anyway, just tossing the idea out there.

More attention would be paid to this if you had:
[*]A picture that shows mods function/usage. (MSPaint works well)
[*]Offer to help with initial concept if you have no modding/spriting experience
[*]Specify a demographic (more experienced modders needed/a chance for new modders to practice)

Overall, excruciating detail is appreciated when conveying ideas.

It seems to me that it would be relatively simple to attach a dropcrate to the EDV Armoured Car, the only complications being the spriting and the Lua required to attach the crate.

Far beyond anything I'm able to do, of course, but good luck with finding someone.
