Didn't you try to ruin the other time we tried this joke? Such a killjoy.
To the best of my knowledge, Data really hasn't said anything on that matter anyway. Common sense would tell you that removing the demo time limit would get you in legal trouble.

the only thing that data could seek legal recompensation for would be getting around the demo time limit, the only significant difference between the purchased and demo versions. if you go circumvent it, then you're quite literally stealing.

What do you consider to be the ethical ramifications of the mac version circumventing itself for you?
It just assumes you're registered if it cannot contact the licensing servers, for whatever reason.

There's only one logical train of thought for this.
Hack the Mac version to stay unregistered when it can't contact the licensing servers.
