Post subject:  Zeffram Manufacturing (SPRITER NEEDED)

Hello all! About a week ago, I released my first mod (Zeffram Manufacturing) unto the forums, and the general consensus is that it is an okay mod, if a bit unoriginal.

Specifically, my weakest point, sprites are unoriginal.
I'm looking for an artist to make sprites: doesn't even matter to me if they are in the CC palette; I can convert them easily enough.

If your curious, please check out the mod at it's current stage, or PM me, or leave a reply. All and any help is appreciated.

And some... *shudder*... concept art. Just for units, cause I think they need the most work.

For the infantry, I was thinking the units base would be some sort of leather or denim plus bits of thin cloth, with some armor plating.

On the right is my concept for the Invader: A light unit wearing a base denim jumpsuit, plus small armor plates allowing a comfortable medium between protection and mobility. He also has little bits (ie: belt or mask) of thinner cloth, basically just for details. He also has a hat.

On the left is the Enforcer: Same base jumpsuit, but no cloth and plating with better coverage. His hat is replaced with a basic helm with a metal faceguard. He also has gloves and a nice harness for holding weapons, etc.

For the destroyer, I was thinking of a two legged mech, with its weight centered forward, and two small machineguns. It would be a light base (aluminum) with some stronger steel plates. The red part is some sort of fuel canister.

As for guns, so far I would need:
1 machine pistol
1 smallish SMG
1 largish SMG with a grenade launcher
1 shotgun
2 assault rifles, one with a grenade launcher
Going for some sort of blueish blackish, sleek color scheme.

Even if you're gonna ask for sprites, got any concept art? Noting that your company is a supposed "failed" supplier of arms and bodies for the coalition, I'm expecting a "different" cannon fodder that isn't as gadget laden as Darklones, so base your idea around that. Wasn't there a concept art thread?

EDIT: Better idea, ever seen the new G.I. Joe movie? That could be a great inspiration for your company.

yeah, my faction's sprites went down to, so i got a spriter.
His motivation was my concept art.
You need some fo that, or atleast tell us what guns u want them to sprite.

I'm planning for most of the units to be rather simple, except for one or two brains/commando units.

Also, Zeff. Man. isn't strictly 'failed'. Just not preferred. Their technology isn't meant to be any worse. In fact, I'd intended for it to be better.

Gotta bump this, and double post if anything is going to happen. I'm going to take you up on this request then, seeing as I want to practice my spriting skills more. Please give me a better idea of the helmet design, and are these "clones" human?

I'm going to pretty much go as far as the clones.
