Community Project
Not sure if this should be in Forum Games or here. I want to propose a cummunity mod. Ill start it off with one simple sprite (Gort head from TDTESS) The next poster adds something to it, like another sprite, coding, some lua, etc. But heres how the system works. Post 'Declare', and then you have four hours to update it(Edit your post with it attatched). You can ask for more time, but this is just to stop people from forgetting about it and destroying the whole thing. Good luck, im off for Thanksgiving

Re: Community Project
It could end well, it's just unlikely.

Hey look, a third post that adds nothing that the OP was looking for.

Re: Community Project
Well, i think this is a bad way of doing it. Maybe if we did something along the lines of the crow, the bear, and the serpent, but with more community involvement, then something would get done. We have a shitton of "ideas" men and a few adept coders, as well as a few pro artists, but really, if we want a community mod we're going to need more than a single sprite that is the wrong size and a hastily thrown together excuse for a check in/check out system. Who wants to actually get something together as a community? Cause we're going to need a decent idea and something we can all work on and get done within a week, or we'll get bored and leave it.

Re: Community Project
Well the OP threw a Gort's head sprite, so I'd assume this project is making Gort. Correct me if I am mistaken.

Re: Community Project
That would be pretty crappy as far as a community project goes. A dude who shoots lasers from his face, woo.

Re: Community Project
The way I look at it, you'd need more than four hours to make a sprite. Especially a set of arm and leg sprites.
And I think he's just posting a Gorn head; we don't have to make a Gorn body you know. Let it be frankensteined like some DRLFF abomination. Gorn head, Wall-E body, whatever... whatever best suits as an avatar and a mascot of DRLFF. All who see it will be struck dead or blind!

But sadistic jokes are often the most amusing if delivered correctly, NaXx.

Re: Community Project
Not so funny second time around. Get serious and offer sprites or advice, or don't post.
