Post Lua mod ideas.
Basically, I am looking for ideas for things in CC that have not been created before.

Make Guns for Undead faction, bombs and other stuff.Do also for braincoats.
I like the dev art and I want to have all faction that must be in CC.

This is called "Planned Vanilla Content".
Spriting it, putting in game, coding it, etc is ALL a huge waste of time.
They WILL BE IN GAME EVENTUALLY.

This thread is also for NEW ideas, not ones already in the works.

Doesn't matter.

How about an actor that can turn into something else on command?

This can be pretty handy. Like, you have a trooper that is light and agile but when in combat situations you can press a button and he will turn into a heavily armored version of himself, and then back.

I have an idea. A rocket silo that spawns rockets resprited to look like a cannon, and Lua-based AI added to the rockets it spawns, so that they launch automatically and seek out enemy AI. It would basically be a cannon that launches rockets, and you could alter the script to have it spawn filled with grenades. :-P

Or is that even possible? :???: Hmmmm...

Also, how about a grenade that deploys into a turret?

Or a gun that shoots tank traps?

Or a revived orbital Ypsilon cannon?

Or a carpet bomb that somehow makes trees grow that you could hide behind?

Or a.... a.... Sorry, out of ideas. Please insert coin to continue.

HAS to be said. im sorry but it does.
Transformer. a robot that is in disguise.

also proximity mines that only chase enamies would be awsome. also a "laser" trap. a node that you attach to the ceiling that has colors like c4 detonators so you can get corresponding colored (insert triggered item) and it shoots out a red beam that when interupted causes said thing to trigger.

a spike trap would be cool you lay down a sheet that the oponent cannot detec as an MO (or you) and when it is stepped on it stabs you. or could shoot you up like a spring.

Also turning the poison dart gun (forgot who made it) into the oposite. a healing gun that shoots needles into people that heal instead of hurt would be awsome. altho that is fairly simple im assuming if you have the poison LUA just make it do negative damage (I'm assuming)

Also a actor with a "melee" weapon that when an oponent (actor from oposing team) gets close enough it automaticaly attacks. cause that would help me alot with the Tremulous mod im making with someone else.

another thing that would help is a actor who can charge a jump by holding a button. so like you hold a button and the longer you hold it (to a limit) the farther you jump.

an actor who can "phase shift". basically you hit a button and he disappears for a time then he reappears after that time.of course if someone stands there while he is gone. hilarity shall insue.

thats all i got for now. but ill comeback with more later if needed.

I'd be happy with a gun that, when shot at friendlies, causes them to actively seek out the enemy brain, like the AI do...

A VF-25 Messiah from Macross Frontier, with working Gerwalk, Battroid, and Fighter modes.

This would be a non-Lua request, but transforming mecha can only be done with Lua, and although the Macross franchise's trademark homing missile spam can be done without Lua, the method is very hacky and somewhat messy.

If you make it gib Alto or Ozma when it dies, all the better.

Roboteching lasers.
As in: lasers that fire at an angle away from the enemy but gently curve and home to hit the target anyway.
