Let someone make some... tanks!
Oh, well not complete tanks, but I would like someone to make sprites, and bodyparts for some things, my idea is to make many tanks of various sizes composed of every possible combination of following elements: "Legs": -Tracks -Two thrusters -Some cool looking anti gravity devices -Legs (4 legs, like crab ones) -and also side thrusters for flying tanks Arms(Guns): -Big cannon -Flamethrower -Laser -Machinegun
And also various body sprites for following types of tanks: -Light and small(like Dreadnought armor, but a bit bigger) tank -Medium small tank (a bit bigger, and more dangerous looking) -Heavy, but small tank (heavily armored)
-Medium(like standard(real) tanks...) light(...but smaller) tank -Medium Medium tank - the most standard type of tank -Heavy Medium tank - Quite big, and very deadly
-Monstruos(quite large, and very terrifying), but quite light tank -Monstrous Medium tank - very big(body at least ~170 pixels of height ) -Monstrous Heavy tank - the biggest, and almost indestructible
Also, it would be good, that there would be separate legs/tracks/whatever sprites for each size class (Small, Medium, Monstrous), and at least 2-3 sizes of cannons.
If anyone would manage to draw sprites, and .ini files for every of that parts I would write a program, that would create .ini`s for every possible combination.

I suggest you stay away from large tanks; they're bloody draining to do (speaking from experience) and kinda buggy in the end anyway. this would be a cool project though, as long as you have a lot of time to give to it. i'd play the finished product, and test if you needed, but im tied up too much to work on this at the moment. i like the idea.

If you're new to modding, which I hope you're not, you'll be using a lot of base copies. If you do, then tell me and I'll check if you've used something which isn't on the mac version, and fix it.

Im on it, and isn't so easy as it seems, each "-" can give you 4 or 5 unexplainable errors...

Re: Let someone make some... tanks!
Tou see... I`m veeeery lazy, and lately I got a bit(luckilly small bit) bored with modding CC, and so only thing I would do is to write a simple C/C#/C++ program, that would create ini`s for all possible combination of elements. And creating .ini`s for all the parts is your job (including all the offsets), so I could just create copies of cannons/legs/etc, modify their params, and attach to copy of body with specific name, weight, move speed, etc. And I`m happy to hear, that you like my idea.
