You can also do it like abdul and just use a mosr as the turret and have it spawn bullets through Lua.

Yeah, that's how it's done - with actors shaped like turrets being repositioned to follow its mounted object every

I don't know much about actors (will find out what I can)

I don't know Lua but in a few days I'll try and learn as much as I can

How about we do clamps on each side, like the dropship docks, that will essentially be landing pads? That way we can grab a dropship and it will essentially 'land'. This can be done with actors too. It'll be tough, but it's possible.

No it would kill them eventually because of dodgy collisions.

Well you could have something that appeared to be tractor beams instead of a contact based clamp whilst using Lua alone to make them move with the transport. The problem that the normal docks have with the scuttling won't be a problem here, seeing as they're moving all the time.

I made a small image of what I thought it should look like

Attachment:
Megalith.bmp [33.78 KiB]
Not downloaded yet

As you can see it looks horrible and I made this from gibs I found On build 20
It is suppose to look like junk , I want it to be part of the Robots , I can make the gibs for it but I
can't put it together so that it gibs right

Any Sprite suggestions are welcome

On the left those weird humps could be where the ICMB's are
And on the right the Pod launcher

ANY help spriting and coding will be much appreciated

Edit: I found templates of crafts in the wiki and I experimented a bit with craft but what I don't understand is: Atomgroups those found on the landing gear and how you make something gib , tried fooling around with the gib editor , very confusing - craft tutorial would be appreciated

Also if somebody could please post 2 sprites - 1 of a dartgun and another of a Grey Gatling gun
