Yes, coalition detonator is fine.

Ok so, the only way to make it properly stick was turning the whole thingie into an HDFirearm.

Now, to use it buy it under the weapons tab; click to throw the bomb, then, activate them with the pie menu.

The explosion is directed according to the rotation angle of the bomb, so, you can detonate it in mid-air for anti-air strikes and stuff.
