Tesla Coil
I know it's big, complicated and much of that stuff, but could someone, please, sprite me a tesla coil tower-like structure?

Re: Tesla Coil
A possible way to do this would be to take the D9 lightning gun and mount it on a turret that looks like a tesla coil. You might set it to spawn as rogue if you wanted indiscriminate action.

Mine jumps from one thing to another and gives some good effects, there are just little spaces between one bolt and the next. I remember it making a branchy lightning bolt made of glows, but yeah, it doesn't have jumping and the effects could use some work.

Re: Tesla Coil
I just... uh... asked for a sprite, not coding.
If I wanted the coding, I would have asked for a completely done tesla coil thingie.
So, sprite, anyone?

Kettenkrad.
I love you.

If it is a tesla coil, and massive, it's more than enough for me. Do it as you want, I can always make the code fit the sprite.
Small question, are you gonna sprite it as a part of a bunker module, or apart like any placeable turret?

Re: Tesla Coil
Rawr like this. Its a bunker module-y thingy, cause all i did was copy the base concrete and adjust the brightness. I can give you that dome-y thing seperately as a whole if you need it that way.
EDIT: O shi- not in palette. 1 sec. I'll get BG and dome sprites aswell.

Re: Tesla Coil
I wouldn't like to make it as a bunker module because I want to dramatically make it ♥♥♥♥ everythig around when it gibs.
And the tower looks pretty much awesome, and I would need the dome thingie separated from the tower.
And when you said massive, I tought it would be twice as big as that. But size doesn't matter (Unless you made a stupidly doomsday big one and a small one, only if you want to).

Re: Tesla Coil
Well I can make a MASSIVE one for you, can I put a bunker array inside it? With generators and stuff? And sorry about the non-module thing, It's just too hard. Can I suggest though that you just make the top globe gib massively? Or have self destructing charges at the base. Ill get to work on it this afternoon, as I'm going out in a few minutes. Quick EDIT: Till then; this is the small one with BG and dome separate: Attachment:

Re: Tesla Coil
Alright, I can make it a bunker module, make the dome gib stupidly awesomely and the concrete tower will look cool as some sort of post-apocaliptic-lightning-blast ruin.
And again, that current size is cool, but only if you want to, you can make a huge (HUGE) one. That would be awesome.
Kettenkrad, thanks, without this sprite I couldn't have done anything.

Re: Tesla Coil
Erm, I've almost got the FG sprite done, using some MP3 bits and pieces (Thanks Gotcha! ^_^) but... It's a tad large. How big do you want it? ATM its about 6 standard CC walls high...

Re: Tesla Coil
Holy mother of Jesus, Mary Magdalene, Joseph, God, all the Saints and Jesus, six walls tall? Maybe that's a little to big.
I'd say four walls high. Or maybe three. But again, I will make the code fit the sprite, so do it mostly as you please.

Re: Tesla Coil
Sorry Asklar, I won't have time now to finish the big sprite, schools started again and I just got a PDHPE assignment >.<
I can upload the unfinished FG sprite, and you can finish it, or you could just go with the smaller one, which is what I'd suggest.
