I was thinking that "Hey, I could create better and smaller bunker holes." So, I edited the old concrete skins and...

Look in Base.rte at all the bunker bits. They have a foreground sprite, a background sprite and material key. If you make one of each for this bunker module I will make it work for you.

Before considering roast veg's offer, I think it'll be more beneficial for you to learn to make it yourself.

So, before we begin you'd need those FG, BG and MAT files which indeed you have.

Then to make your own .rte make a newfolder and name it BunkerNew.rte or something to that effect.

Open the folder and make a new text document, write this:

Datamodule
[tab]ModuleName = [whatever you desire]
[tab]IncludeFile = BunkerNew.rte/Bunker.ini

save as all files with a .ini extension.

Now make a new text document and put this:

Code:
AddTerrainObject = TerrainObject
   PresetName = Left Barrier
   AddToGroup = Bunker Modules
   GoldCost = 50
   FGColorFile = ContentFile
      Path = NewBunker.rte/[filename]
   MaterialFile = ContentFile
      Path = NewBunker.rte/[filename]
   BGColorFile = ContentFile
      Path = NewBunker.rte/[filename]

Copy paste the code and adjust name for the right barrier.
Make sure you use tabs not spaces.
Make sure there is a blank line in between the two codes.

save as extension .ini as well, now boot up cc and you should be able to place your bunker during the building phase.

Feel free to give errors.

Also don't use jpg, use bmp, and make sure it's in pallet.

Sorry for giving not-so-good instructions, I actually just wanted to get the .bmp:s work in-game. I have all that .ini stuff and .rte folder but the bunker files look ♥♥♥♥ in the game.

Oh, you have to palette them, right now they aren't using colours that are indexed with the palette.

Open up a a sprite file and paste your sprites over them, save as and they should be in palette.

Or import the CC palette in GIMP as a palette, then you can set the mode to indexed, with the palette as the colormap.

Maybe I am stupid as hell but they still look like this:

So, open palette in paint.net. I copy paste my sprite on the palette and save. (btw I didn't replace the old palette)
They still look like that...

That is definitely palette problems. Here's how to do it in Photoshop (well, GIMP works too):

1.) open up a bunker FG file, duplicate it in your folder. (I usually use the tomb but use what you like)
2.) open up the duplicate, fill it all with transparent pink (255, 0, 255), and paste your module there. Resize. Save. Make sure it's .bmp.
3.) do the same with your BG and Mat pics, but for the Mat file you have to duplicate a Mat file in step 1.
4.) ????
5.) PROFIT!

Try use GIMP.
Import CC's palette, and then set the image mode to Indexed, with the CC palette.
Uncheck remove unused colors.

This topic covers how to palette images in Gimp. The only extra thing you'd need to do is use the second materials palette for your Mat file. The BG and FG images are in the normal CC palette, but the Mat uses the materials palette.
