Since all ya'll seem to be total ballers at making awesome weaponry. I was wondering if anyone could make a "freezing gun".
Basically the way I see it working is that the gun itself shoots beam of particles, similar to a laser, which when they hit something creates more particles which then creates more particles, simulating the effect of a spreading ice. The ice should then envelop the thing you're shooting at until it's unable to move, simulating the effect of having been frozen. After a while however the ice melts and your enemy is free to move. This could be used to create temporary blockades, bridges and as a back-up weapon used when reloading takes too long. If it's possible, the particles should stick to other units as well as terrain and structures. All in all it's basically a mix between a laser gun and a concrete gun, with the drawback of not doing any damage or creating permanent blockage but having long range.
This episode of Batman, featuring Mr. Freeze, is bascally how I see it working.
