Giant Crab Onslaught?
I always thought it'd be pretty cool to have a crab onslaught of the Giant Crabs from that one mission, would this be possible?

Yeah, now that i think about it it seems basically done for me. i mean, the crab is already useable, already hunts brains (not sure what it'd do when it found one, though) and it already is sprited (obviously)
it'll probably be nextweek before i release the activities. look for it by next monday (5 days)

Except the whole hopping around effect is coded directly into Doanair's lua file. It is not beyond possibility, however, to add code to the mama crab itself to start lunging whenever it gets within a certain distance of the nearest enemy actor...

I could try, and trying is all I could do. I'm not any kind of Lua proficient, but with enough reference material I could might be able to come up with something. No promises.

Here, it isn't exactly like what you described, but its close. However crabs don't jump, and there is this really gay mega crab with a Gatling gun. But w.e.
Put in wildlife.rte and add comment into index.ini, and then comment out skirmish activities in missions.rte.

OHH no did I just make this!!! Those darn mother crabs are everywhere .. aarrr LOL this is the funniest mod I have made so far. Here is the Mother crabs with the required LUA not only to jump but to hunt you down too. I have used a little of CaveCrickets Hunter code, so MUCH thanks goes to him. CCs hunter mod -->( viewtopic.php?f=61&t=17905) I have included a scene so just comment out: line 6 // IncludeFile = Missions.rte/Skirmish Activities.ini located in Cortex Command\Missions.rte\Index.ini Its a lot of fun to verse this one against the one in Doainar mission too. Enjoy.
