So I use Ubuntu. Around B24 I bought a copy of Cortex Command, and I used it till B26 (the Mac version), where after that I went dormant for a while. I just came back to it, and I'm trying to make the Linux version work. I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, and every time I open it I get: Code: Shutting down Allegro due to signal #11 Segmentation fault (core dumped) Segmentation faults are stupid. What can I do to make this work? I'm considering caving in and just installing the Windows version under WINE. |

Just install the windows version and run it in Wine. It works much better. |

The Linux version has yet to update beyond B25 yet as far as I know, so yes, stick with the above until the next build at the very least. |

o_e WINE runs it but it says it can't find Techion.rte... |

I'm not familiar with WINE, but try redownloading CC. You might not have B27.1. If you DO have a Techion.rte, try removing it. Other than that, I don't know. |
