I think they should add a key for cortex command for the licensing page under "steam keys", so we can update as soon as the updates come out, and not have to wait a few hours/days.

I agree too, it's quite frustrating not having the last patched build several weeks later.

And unfortunately a bit of an unintentional reputation damager. I was showing a friend a round of the release 27 game play - the one that was posted to the HIB2 site weeks ago, and not the current one that's available only to the Data Realms Security site. Although he was impressed with the game, it was so buggy he basically said he was going to hold off on buying it. So I sorta lost the game a customer by being short the revised version, although I tried to explain to him the situation.

Does anyone know how long any normally takes for the indie bundle to update?

It was a day or so for the original B27 release, or maybe just a few hours? They should release it. Soon.

The issue is that the difference between B27 and the B27R2 release is only minor, so it's quite likely the HIB won't be updated until the next CC full release. Bear with it for now, it's only the newest mods that are affected, and even then it's not many of them.

Only one mod has been released that uses the non-HIB build, but it makes a major impact on how the game is played. The new update also adds an entire new faction to the vanilla content. I don't see how that is only a minor difference.

This "entire new faction" is five weapons, a digger and two bombs, and total conversion mods are well known for being very build specific. I don't claim to be able to convince the mod team to contact the humble bundle crowd, and since we know that the next version is well on the way, all the mods you download now could well be broken by then anyway, especially such temperamental ones as total conversion mods.

I hear from my teddy bear you guys will be able to log in to Licensing with your HIB key to download the latest build...
